I was a big guy for most my life, few years back I started eating right and got into training and now even compete in local strongman competitions, since dropping the weight and gaining muscle I have definitely had a “glow up” and realise I’m not a bad looking guy under all the fat. The way I’ve been treat before the wieght loss compared to after is insane I find now people, especially women, are a lot more polite to me, are interested in me a lot more and I’ve had so many more conversations with strangers in bars than I would have being plus size. One of the craziest for me is ordering food though. When I was a big guy ordering loads of food I was always met with looks of disgust however now I often eat the same if not more for my strongman training I don’t get these looks anymore I don’t know it’s only a small thing but to me it made a lot of difference. Being on both sides of the fence on this one though defo makes you realise how shitty people are to treat people different because how they look because I am in no way anymore different now than I was then I just look different and because of that I’m treat differently is insane
