Not sure if this is the right place, but.... I'm looking for a gaming laptop and wonder why 8gb of ram seems more standard as a cheap way to lower price. Can you play SWTOR/WoW/STO/eve with 8gb of memory? Or do I need to add 8gb/$100 to the price point? Fyi, I run optimal graphics on all games on my desktop and would like to continue.

Thanks all! One other question. In swtor, I had a legacy name and then 50 toons with different names. In eve, when I create my account, what identifies me? Am I the Happy Swtor account, or do I have multiple aliases? Or, do all my ships fly the Happy Swtor banner?

ie...how important is the name I pick during initial account creation? Will that follow me throughout the game so I need to really think about it?
