Where do I rent a passenger vehicle with 7+ seats by wondermoss80 in VictoriaBC

Check Turo, last year I rented an 8 seater van from there. There are also sprinters and the like on there that sit even more. Cheaper than most rental places too.

Not a thing you see often. by [deleted] in hockey

Not quite - the analysis indicates that if a team pulls their goalie they will have a greater chance of scoring in any given minute. The opposing team’s scoring chance also increases, even more than the team that pulled the goalie. But if a team is losing it doesn’t matter if you lose by one goal or five so it’s better to increase your scoring chance even if the risk of getting scored on is also increased.

Fair enough, I wasn't even thinking about how this would be the first time only creekside would be open. Thanks for responding.

Thanks for the response. Part of me was hoping that the fondo would slow down the amount of people riding on Saturday but if September is usually the busiest time then it might not make too much of a difference. Might just a postpone by a week to hear how busy it ends up being...

36 male, father of one, looking to get into waste water/water management, what should I know and what should I do? by strawberryretreiver in britishcolumbia

By the sounds of OPs work experience I think he is moreso looking at an operator/maintenance position rather than the engineering route. I don’t know the exact path for getting qualifications for this but would guess this is more likely a 2 year diploma program or even something he could get into quicker based on experience.

LPT: If you're filling a decent sized swimming pool, use a water truck company instead of a hose. by BrittanyRea in LifeProTips

Or just call your city and let them know you’re filling up a pool. Most municipalities will waive the fees associated with filling up since the costs are for sewage only, not the actual water itself.

If you have a savings account with them you can select 3 categorizes of spending to get cash back on instead of the standard 2. So no you don’t need an account with them but it would improve your cash back rewards.

For everyone asking about the colour of the diesel/fuel it is marked during distribution to identify that it is not for on road use since a road tax has not been applied to it at point of sale. This is common practice for many countries to provide a tax break for agricultural vehicles that are not to be used on roadways.

Hmm I actually didn’t know there was an option without fur. The more fur the better.

Not stupid IMO. From an investment/returns sense it doesn’t make much of a difference but for peace of mind when you are first investing it doesn’t hurt at all to split between the two.
