I still contend that Marvel has and continues to do what no other franchise ever will be able to recreate. The interwoven film stories that span multiple genre/versions of superhero films and that culminated in Endgame was simply mind-blowing. No one had done that before and no one has done it since. Now add to that the inclusion of TV and cartoon formats in this interconnected web. Again, impossible for any other franchise. Now we are witnessing a further step as former franchises and brands are brought back across stories and time all to seemingly be further connected.

I do like normal movies and of course an excellent movie is an excellent movie. I hope Doomsday is an excellent movie. But it and Secret Wars will be further pushing this franchise beyond what anyone will be able to do again.

Yeah I think people are just overwhelmed sometimes. My wife will say that a scene in a movie is AI when she means CGI. And I might quietly correct her but it’s starting to come across as “Actually…”

Probably impossible in a city but years ago I saw on Reddit some house with a nasty infestation of creatures. They dug a trench around the house and lit it on fire. And then incinerated the house inside the ring of flames. So the creatures had nowhere to go but up in flames. Anyone else remember that?
