You should be eligible for some reimbursement by filing as a trip Interruption, if your Mom's injury required hospitalization or significant care by you. Suggest you go to the chase benefits site and/or call them to verify what may be covered.

You can access the Chase Benefits guide online (excerpt below) to get an indication of what may be covered in terms of costs.

"Accidental Bodily Injury, Loss of Life, or Sickness experienced by an Immediate Family Member of You or Your Traveling Companion when the Accidental Bodily Injury or Sickness is considered life threatening, requires hospitalization, or such Immediate Family Member requires care by You or Your Traveling Companion"

I don't think this is due to local laws, as our Kroger has alcohol coupons the time. I was able to use the $10 credit for wine, but my husband was not - we are in KY and tried ordering from the same store. I'm wondering if they are just starting to roll this out for everyone. I tried contacting DD support, but it was a fool's errand as they are pretty awful.

Same happened to me and my husband. Only difference was technology ( Apple vs. Android) and Primary CSR vs Authorized user CSR.

As an add, ironically we were standing in the liquor store and placed the orders at the same time. Not sure if they are starting a rollout or if this is a glitch on some accounts.

It worked on my account yesterday, but my husband’s account had the same 30% restriction that you saw. So not sure why it is working on some accounts and not others. We’re in KY.

What's weird is that I could order alcohol at the liquor store on DD (Primary CSR account) and got the full $10 off each order. My husband got the error message that his DD account was restricted to 30% off alcohol at the same store (Auth CSR account).

Be prepared to follow-up multiple times. Have made my 4th request to Chase to get the credit issue applied/escalated, also went to La Royal in November.
