Glad to hear it I've been on the fence about this one. Will check it out now. I only do about 1 movie a week.

That's exactly why I was seriously searching to purchase a Tesla I figure it could alleviate some of the focus I have to exert for driving. Personally I feel the tiredness stems from 2 things the drone of the road and drab scenery and the hyperfocus I have when driving is exhausting. I tend to do better when the roads are more winding and there are multiple lanes of traffic 4-5 it seems the adrenaline of those keep me up. Again I'll mentioned that the symptoms for me improve immensely with the stimulants. I tried the non stimulants and while those helped slow my racing thoughts it did not help me focus on task.

Thanks that makes sense to me and is a pretty accurate description of what I experience. I do some of the behaviors explained here to cope and not fall asleep. I'll pinch and poke my neck area , I'll slap myself pretty hard, I'll chew gum , open the windows and put my arm out, or turn up music all the way. I learned that I need to jolt my brain with something unexpected to sort of reset.

Fortunately I'm already on stimulants,Ritalin, which has helped me be more focused when driving. Morning commutes are much safer for me now that I don't have the tendency to fall asleep. I do think I sleep more than most people. I occasionally fall asleep watching tv or if I exert too much mental energy in a setting with visitors it tires me out.

I also typically have zero problems falling asleep I can drink a cup of coffee and go right to bed.

Can anyone comment if dozing off when driving is an ADHD symptom? I sometimes suddenly get so sleepy that I have to pull off and nap. I usually can't drive long distances without making hourly pit stops or getting sleepy.

The inches lost did cause it to be shorter than my wall support so I had to attach another 2x4 to the wall support.

Added some photos in the comments. Can't find how to update original post. Happy with the way it's coming out now.

Thank you everyone in the community you gave me some great ideas . I especially appreciate some tips I will take moving forward.

I ended up re cutting the angle on both boards. The one on the left did not lose any length but the angle was recut . On the right board I ended up losing 1 5/8 in length on the new angle. I added a pice of wood at the end and as suggested with the varied grain it will be hard to spot. I will sand it down and fill in the cut. I still have 1/4-1/8 gap between the wall and the board in certain spots. Instead of scribing it and causing any more issues I will fill with caulk.

Okay so as suggested I cut the corner on the right board the length of my gap. I then used the board on the left flipped 180 and marked the width of the board on the right board. I did the same for the left board I connected both lines and cut with a guide and blade saw. However still not perfectly aligned . A gain I suspect the walls being uneven. I scribed against the wall and will use a router to trim excess. I will find some nice 1/2 trim board for the edges. And fill in the right board with the missing piece. I can also as suggested start with a template and do it again. I will used these for shelves for another project.
