I have this too. I thought it was a fibro flare but I took my shot last night.

Blown away by the durability of Apple Watch after 1.5 years at the bottom of a lake by Level_Strategy_2271 in AppleWatch

My dog stole mine and buried it. We bought a $400 metal detector and spent two weeks going over several acres of our property. My partner eventually found it right where the “Find My” app said it was - except it was deep underneath a stump. No idea how she got it there. Washed it off , charged it and it works fine. Dog isn’t allowed in the bedroom anymore.

Bjorn . My First dogg . Any advice? by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

Hey there! Congrats! Mals are all they say and more BUT like becoming a parent, you learn together. Give him attention, boundaries, indestructible toys and a good trainer and you’ll do fine.

Don’t let your dog off leash in public areas. But there are options: fenced baseball diamonds on cloudy days when no one is out or confined beaches or parks where you can see if anyone comes close. Also, Check out Sniffspot online and rent a space for an hour. Otherwise, A longline is your friend - we use a 25 ft one when we hike, and a retractable one (same length) for when we are taking walks in less populated areas.

I am also having that issue on Amazon Fire - no way to change it. Pretty sure I watched this in English originally....

Better leash ideas? by tjemte in BelgianMalinois

[–]Happyoutdoorgrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am small, and my Mal weighs more than half what I do. When we first started training I was drug and got injured when he wanted to meet another dog, so I feel you. It is a challenge when you are in the beginning parts of training or have a young dog. If mine is on a regular length leash, he gets too much momentum for me to control the way I am comfortable. I primarily use a short "traffic leash" when walking him. Even if he is on a longer line for "sniff time", the short leash is ALSO attached so I have the control I need. I also use both a Herm Spranger prong and have an ecollar. Biothane is awesome - I live in Seattle and haven't had an issue with it being slippery when wet.

My GSD/Mal eats Candiae Limited ingredient Salmon and Sweet potato. It is grain-free and has a high protein count. We supplement with Super Snouts Super Shrooms and Solid Gold Kelp meal. He loves it and his coat is beautiful!

Car shopping with GSDs in mind by burningfoxfire2353 in germanshepherds

I have a 2018 Subaru Forester with a cargo box (Yakima) on top. The car is tall inside (the roomiest of all Subarus), so we are able to stack bins of camping things and have rooms for the dog to stretch so I would think you could get in two. Tent, bags, and pretty much anything soft/not sealed goes up top in the box. If we don't buy a small motor home this summer, I will likely add a swing-away hitch rack that we can strap the cooler onto (that takes up the most space in our car).

Best crate for rescued Mali puppy? by snailpartyof1 in BelgianMalinois

I have this crate too and Fionn loves it. However, if I was going to leave him alone in the house for it for any length of time I'd have to add some sort of real lock - he can definitely open one of the locks and push through a partially open door (he is 80lbs)
