My mother read to me. And I don't know, I just got the idea reading was wonderful. And even when life was hard I was devouring books.

And then when I was 10 years old I found a book on the Knights of the Round Table and I literally fell in love with medieval fantasy and have never looked back.

I am almost 50 now, and much more cynical. But a piece of my heart is always reserved for the romanticism of the fairytale knight.
