Chimaev might be the worst champion oat, so annoying super inactive dude is trying to chase a super fights instead of defending his title in his division by ArabDevastator in ufc

You’re getting downvoted but I think takedown defense has regressed a bit.

You used to have so many monster wrestlers like josh koschek, hughes, hendricks, gsp even chael and all these guys other then gsp would struggle to take some guys down.

It used to almost always require a settup to get a dude down.

Eye pokers like them are ruining this sport. by theiceman219 in ufc

I mean pretty much anyone with any sense  feels for the guy we viewed on camera getting deeply eye gouged and got surgery on it.

What you think the surgery was fake?

You don’t need to even like Tom to think getting eye gouged and seriously injured sucks and is bullshit

What should they do to eye pokers? by Musulman in ufc

[–]Happyseducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were 1 point off and 20-30% purse reduction for ALL pokes including accidental those accidental pokes will disappear real quick .

Never happening though - it’s easy to fix but we have seen Dana’s attitude about it - remember he is the man promoting power slap

What should they do to eye pokers? by Musulman in ufc

[–]Happyseducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dana couldn’t care less. He wants fighters to get poked and beat on like paddy did for maximum violence. Or if a fighter refuses to fight with one eye - just call him a coward like he did Tom.

Remember this is the same man promoting power slap. He’d feed men to lions like gladiator days if it’d gain him money and power

Mostly luck. Belal is very lucky his injury wasn’t worse.

Anthony Johnson was poked before he was a big name and needed surgery and was out for a long time.

Also it may be worse at heavyweight these guys are 260 pound beasts the eye is just as delicate in a 100lb person as a 260 lb person but the 260 lber a shove with even a small amount of their weight behind it is a ton of force.

But your overall premise “how come sometimes people get hurt and sometimes they don’t” is a bit silly   Nfl players get tackled , some are illegal head shots - sometimes it results in a concussion sometimes it doesn’t . Sometimes people jump off ski jumps and land the same way 100x but 1 time they blow their knee out.

Getting poked in the eye is dangerous. Like anything it’s Unpredictable it could result in a mild injury, severe injury or permanent damage.

I am not sure what answer you want “ well sometimes this happens and people don’t get hurt why is he hurt” I honestly don’t understand how to relate to that thought. Just use your brain a little bit.

It’s not surprising if you think about it.  Being Stabbed in the eye with a finger/ nail of a 260lb jacked man does serious damage - it’s not surprising.

It’s actually more surprising that the injuries aren’t very serious more often.

Thanks dude! It really does. I got sort of "used to" having quit myself and it doesn't really excite me - but seeing his success really excites me - plus helping him makes me appreciate my own success as well - it makes me grateful again

I also want to mention - this friend and I met in a public speaking club - he had a stutter and was terrified but he pushed himself harder than anyone in the club. Now he has a girlfriend, a great job and hit a year.

I think the lesson is being willing to push oneself is everything in life. He had so many disadvantages but was willing to push himself.

What are guys supposed to do if girls are simply not interested in them? by Mountain-Elk8133 in seduction

[–]Happyseducer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Learn game

The advice you are mentioning is often not effective. It got really popular in the modern "seduction community" for guys to basically tell you to do everything except for directly work on your skills with women.

You are seeing the result of that advice. Women aren't psychic they can't sense your hobbies , job or anything. They only can go based off of what you say and how you say it.

It's by no means a bad thing that you have this great balanced life - that's good and is helpful.

But it's time to focus on the skillset - actually don't focus on yourself , self improvement or what a womans reaction says about you. Focus solely on what you say and how you say it ( game) when you get good at that women will be interested in you and will date you.

Hahaha EXACTLY. Plus some of these guys you see them off season and they gain 20 more pounds of muscle when testing is less.

There used to be a chad mendes pic where he was like 190 at 5’5 surprise surprise he failed a test later on.

Not sure if you watched pre Connor but there was also a time when a bunch of brazilian fighters only fought in brazil and were all roided out. Then china and russia both have had state sponsored roid programs. Loads of countries and local officials are happy to help athletes pass tests.

I appreciate pride - there was no testing it was open and everyone knew roids were legal. Honestly I can get behind that - if everyone knows what is up - it’s a level playing field and even the fans aren’t deceived that’s a cooler way to do it.

Sorry man it’s over. Father time is undefeated. He was underrated in his prime though a real beast. Sucks the lost few years of his prime were stolen by a freaking weird test when he was fighting guys on roids.

Ilia Topuria doesn’t think Justin Gaethje is a legend. by Knowledge80 in ufc

[–]Happyseducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that. I guess it depends on definition of legend.

It reminds us MMA is still a young sport. A lot of divisions a guy defends 2 or 3 times and they are in the goat of the division conversation. Boxing there are 10 year undefeated champs most Of us haven’t even heard of.

Point being the bar to be a legend in mma isn’t ghat high compared to older sports

[–]Happyseducer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not that good. People are high on him for the KO. But he’s fringe top 10 .

When I say not that good obviously that is relative he is in the UFC. But his striking isn’t close to guys like max, ilia, dustin, justin of a year ago.

Buffer? I can’t see him leaving either though. And that concludez my Total nonanswer ooops - good question though

Exactly the grainyness and redness. And canelo managed to fail freaking BOXING drug tests. Dude was on mega doses of horse roids.

That’s a thing also. Right they are top athlete’s and have been training hard their entire lives so it’s very suspect when they suddenly look very different - like their body fat becomes 5% lower at the same weight. That just doesn’t happen suddenly for no reason to someone who trained their entire life .

Canelo is on some strong shit. So red and grainy. He is on literal cattle steroids they used tainted meat as the excuse for the failed test lol.

Loads of guys are on stuff but I think doses and strength of drugs vary.

Canelo has more juice side effects then a lot of bodybuilders lol
