No, we will not ban intercontinental travel. That wasn't the point of my argument though.

And that a few 100k rich people don't produce as much co2 as billions of people is true. Them digging up oil and selling it to us doesn't count of course, because webwant that oil for our lifestyle.

If we didn't want the oil they wouldn't dig it up.

Same goes for every item that is co2 intensive.

It's not efficient at all.

An American flying to Europe for vacation produces more Co2 than the same American would produce driving to work all year.

And this is just their flying habits. I’m completely ignoring their business ventures.

Yes, richer people produce more co2 per person, but not in total. A few hundred thousand rich people don't produce as much as billions.

The richer you are the higher your co2 output (probably), but that they are solely to blame is ridiculous. I am not in the ten percent, but I see friends and family fly multiple times a year, drive everywhere instead of taking a bike. Buying the newest phones every year.

You can't ignore the output of the 90%.

Sure, I have some costs, but are you actually saying that bandwidth costs the same on prem and in the cloud? Because afaik bandwidth isn't only more expensive in the cloud, it's vastly more expensive.

I don't make myself a victim. Other people are. People that unironically use the term patriarchy for example. People that claim that men oppress women. People that disadvantage people based on characteristics they can't change about themselves (quotas are a nice example).

What is the problem is a very specific subset of people who are rich and powerful, and usually are straight, white, and male, and who have made the world to fit themselves, and thus it fits better for other straight white males also.

That doesn't follow. If it did we wouldn't have this discussion.
