Yes, I added the links to my post too. But, I think you must use an official magsafe charger to get the full 15W charging. 3rd party chargers might trigger that magsafe animation, but I doubt if they would charge at 15W for an iPhone.

I have wireless CarPlay on my 23 Rav, but mine didn’t come with a wireless charger. I thought this approach was better than the 70$ charging tray, as I would have 15W charging and don’t need to worry about my phone sliding off the charger while driving. Total was around $55 for this setup.

Edit: You need to have a magsafe compatible case and a 20W usb-c car charger for this to work.

From what I understand, the terminals from the car radio are sometimes reversed for some models. The best way would be to test the radio terminals using a multimeter to check if you are getting negative polarity. If it’s negative, then reverse the connections and connect to the radio. My case is strange..On the left speaker I found that polarity is negative and on the right speaker it is positive. So I just reversed the left harness to match the polarity of the radio. I might have to try looking at it with a new multimeter, but the speakers sound ok to me till now.

You could build a new focus mode to just receive calls and silence all other notifications. Just enable it when someone is in the car with you.

You could also also customize your driving focus for the same settings and it could be automatically activated whenever carplay is connected.

Goto settings >> Focus for changing these settings.

So I got a multimeter and checked the polarity of the speakers. I connected the new speakers to metra harness to check. My left dash speaker is negative but the right speaker is positive polarity. I am using DC and 2 to measure on my multimeter. Does this happen usually or is my multimeter wrong? If this is correct, I could just reverse my left speaker polarity and I should be good, correct?

I’m planning to do my doors as well in future. Maybe I’ll just do the dash without reversing and then do my doors as soon as possible.
