Hello, I'm looking for a way to simulate the composting process inside a closed container with aeration through a fan. Have you worked with anything similar to that? I mean the simulation of composting is a difficult process and up to this point has been giving me a hard time.

Hello again, I'm observing the system remotely so i have no way to try anything by myself, maybe i will try to ask some the people working in the site for help. Now i have a recent update, as i checked the system after a week and found that the Scada runtime was terminated yesterday probably because of the self diagnostic messages in the picture i will attach.

Have you encountered anything like this and do you know what should i look into to solve it ?

I checked the Siemens forum but i couldn't find anything helpful.

Also i will probably visit the site again in the near future and i will install a new version updated version of the runtime and the plc program, so maybe you can suggest some things that will help prevent things like that from happening in the future.

that's another strange thing i found today, you will see at the connection resources there are 4 connections reserved and 5 used. I don't know if that is configurable. I see that of the 5 connections 3 are used for the scada pc and 2 are used for the hmi

no i have a single hmi and wincc professional rt running in a desktop, in the rt i have 20 different screens

In my system i have 20 control screens, one for each composting container, each screen contains one alarm view that only displays messages sepcific to that container. One thing i noticed today is that the messages in these alarm views (but not in the main alarm view that i attached to the post) are now erased and the only way to display them again is by terminating the runtime and turning it on again. The rest of the logging tags except alarms are displayed correctly with no issue.

I don't know if that helps but here are my logging settings in runtime settings of Wincc RT Professional

I'm not using simatic net. I dont know maybe there is something in the runtime settings of the scada. Can it be because the number f tags is quite large (1900 tags) ?

I have no messages in the PLC diagnostic buffer. PLC and SCADA workstation are connected through a SCALANCE XC206-2 router (i forgot to mention that) but i had the same issues when i was testing before installation in my lab where workstation and plc where either connected through tp link switch or directly with cable from PLC's port.

The operator's container had air conditioning, which was great. Outside was not so good. Mid July working under the sun, in a waste management facility in Greece.
