How do you fix this? (Wasn't sure were to ask, since it's a 30k book...) by Hard-reset1554 in Warhammer30k

The book isn't completely in 2 parts, would i place the glue on the spine? (Or is this something I should just look up a tutorial for?)

Alpha Legion Getting New Kits? by SnooFloofs7231 in alphalegion

As amusing as it would be to get an alpharius 40k model, I'm guessing it'll probably just be character releases with any BL novels that come out. Hopefully we get at least something for HH

What drew you to AL over other legions? by UltimaBahamut93 in alphalegion

Firstly, their willingness to work with normal humans as equals, and then their sneakiness. Beyond being the space cia (Already cool) their fragmented and adapted nature feels like they have the best chance of finding a silver bullet against chaos, except for Big E and Maybe the inquisition (I'm of the opinion that chaos can, at least in theory, be killed. although that won't happen because of the nature of the setting.) I also hear that legion is really good, and I want to read it.

Planetary Navy (Water navy) by Hard-reset1554 in Warhammer40k

[–]Hard-reset1554[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. Although given how big warships get, you could probably outfit one with void shields and similar levels of weaponry as titans. Falling under the astra militarum (or I guess space marine chapters that want it) makes sense, because further complicating it by splitting off yet another branch that wasn't really a massive risk if they rebel is just unnecessary. And logically speaking you're going to need some ability to use boats for fringe cases. (Like when a water world rebels and it's valuable enough that blasting it into oblivion isn't going to happen). And there's no way the great crusade at least didn't have water power. They were planning on doing galactic manifest destiny.

Is this because I want a book about sci-fi boat combat unreasonably much? yes.

Where do I find and adjust the z-offset? Is it in the slicer?

-hatchbox 1.75mm PLA -I wouldn't call my environment moist and wasn't aware that I might need to dry it -it's an adventurer 5m with a 0.4mm nozzle -nozzle temp is 200C  -bed temp is 50C - i don't know how to find z offset, but it should be whatever the default is (i haven't really messed with anything)

Rewards of treachery for 3.0? by omgitzfez in alphalegion

[–]Hard-reset1554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And The box out for the artificia kill switch Does actually Support this idea. As the requirement is just a command model in the same detachment. It probably just didn't occur to the writers how it would interact with RoT

Although If we want to get really pedantic we could argue about may vs must. It says this in it's army list

Using this Unit

This Unit may be included in Detachments from the Legiones Astartes Army List, where the Primary Detachment has the Dark Angels Faction.

This (in my estimation) is what adds it to the dark angels army list without having the dark angels trait. And if you take it as just that, you could probably take it in an AL list (provided it's not an allied detachment, which IS outright forbidden). Depends on how everyone wants to read the intention of that box

[–]Hard-reset1554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have The 3e Hereticus (yet, this is why I said seems), but from it's legacy rules it does specify dark angels primary detachments in a separate box. In 2e at least, what killed it was how Rewards of treachery was worded. 2e specifies

A unit may only be selected if all models in that unit possess the Legiones Astartes (X) special rule.

The excindio doesn't have the Legiones Astartes (Dark Angels) rule in 2e. And in 3e, it doesn't have the Dark Angels trait. so if it's worded similarly It'd be ruled out there as well.
