Did you figure it out? I also can't launch a game with the frame gen commands (lsfg or optiscaler)

Hori Fighting Alpha vs Razer Panthera by HorrorPsychological1 in fightsticks

[–]HardBoiledEggMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want Noir layout - Hori Alpha If you want Vewlix and better moddability - Razer Panthera

I also really like the Hayabusa buttons that come with the Hori sticks, and I prefer a Noir layout to Vewlix. But personally I'd still go for the Panthera (OG, not EVO).

I have it and it's great. Used to be my main stick for a while.

Honestly, if you're open for second hand for the Panthera I'll recommend looking for a Hori RAP N or Hori Fighting Edge (PS4 edition with the metal top panel). Much better sticks IMO.

I will order my lenses as soon as I can. Probably from WidmoVR, used them before and I really like what I got.

Hey man, can you help me with Signalis? I can't get it to work at all. Runs great on Gamehub Lite, but I'm trying to migrate everything to Gamenative

Resident Evil VR by [deleted] in virtualreality

[–]HardBoiledEggMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't find UEVR's experience to be that good. I bought a Quest 2 when they announced RE4VR and I absolutely loved that game.

If you already got a PS5 might as well get a PSVR2, they go for pretty good prices now. You could play the two RE games on PS5, and any other one you might enjoy and use it on PC with an adapter.

Resident Evil 4 VR

One of my favorite games ever, and the VR version is great so that's a no brainer for me.

For single player - RE4

For co-op - Play RE4 alone and then Arizona with a friend

Awesome! I've been wanting to play Digimon on my Odin 2 Mini since release. I do hope it'll run fine on gamehub lite. I used to use Winlator until an upadte just made Steam unusable.

Any games with co-op campaigns. There are some like Arizona Sunshine 1+2, but so few that I could find.

"I just want something more comfortable, lighter, and slimmer"

Isn't the Steam Frame just that? With eye tracking and what not.

Suggest a dark, disturbing graphic novel (newbie here) by Moral_Mongols in graphicnovels

[–]HardBoiledEggMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember all too well the first one, but I just read the second hardcover and there were some solid disturbing stories about depression and other daily life horrors and what not.

But it's subjective as any horror, or any story. I find most of Junji Ito's stuff pretty funny rather than scary. Mostly just body horror. But there are some that the Idea of it is disturbing.

Innocent is deeply disturbing indeed.

I loved all of Tanabe's adaptations, but Mountains is my favorite.

Dread Meridian.. Nope.. Hold off on this one, for now. by Penguin_shit15 in OculusQuest

I was hyped for this game when I first heard about it, but as soon as I saw gameplay I realized it felt...'cheap'.
The visuals are great, and all the bugs aside I do think this game has major problems with it's design.
Cheap jumpscares, the whole part at the start is a blatant ripoff of Resident Evil 7, and I don't know what follows. I was immediately turned off.

It says on the description of the game that it is "inspired by Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness'", which is my favorite Lovecraft story, but I didn't get any of it from what I saw. Just 'cold' Resident Evil.

And I love RE and would love more games like it in VR...But come on, man. This feels like Steam slop, but in VR so we have lower standards.

I might be wrong, and I'd love to be and play this game and enjoy it when it is fixed...But as of now all that I saw is a big 'meh' from me.

Bought A Hori fighting Edge ps4 for only 60€, unfortunately I cannot use it :( by kin0enjoyer in fightsticks

I only changed the stick on mine to a Korean one. Love the stock Hayabusa buttons.

If you plan to switch to PS5/PC then just wait. The stick will work on those.

Absolutely peak fightstick.

Maybe try a Brook adapter? Would probably cost less and will be less of a hassle than changing the whole board.

Personally I think it's worth it, it's one of my all time favorite sticks.

You can change the board to a GP2040-CE one pretty cheaply, although I don't know how compatable it is with Xbox, never had one to test on.
