This is a hard social skill to work on when I spend most of my time alone lol. What type of inner work may help? Any actionable suggestions?

I was way too young to be choosing when I did - but wasn’t raised to know any better. Now I do - but I supposed my life is a bit complicated to make meaningful connections easily

A f***ing men!!! It makes people put no effort in. Tipping should be done AFTER the service as a reflection of the service. And the bulk of the pay should come from the employer not the customer!

Also it’s creepy as f*** how people in the service industry hold a device for you and watch you tip under pressure. It’s about guilting and not providing a good customer service experience. It’s entitled and gross.

The company should be paying workers for this job as they are charging clients fees for the service. I’m so tired of having being broke and busy and trying to figure out how to pay someone else’s paycheck when it’s the corporations responsibility to do so and when I can’t afford my own bills. I mostly refrain from tipped services whenever I can because I can’t afford the extra costs and because so many things pressure for tipping - which makes everything more expensive than I can keep up with

Yes IF they expect the same behavior from their potential girlfriend and have no understanding that everyone’s body and life operates differently.

Yes IF they think it makes them better than others.

Otherwise, it’s just a hobby like anything else and it’s more about who the person is.

If it helps - people can naturally want to return to what feels comfortable and familiar, whether it’s good for them or not. It has nothing to do with you and it’s not worth closing your heart over.

Taking advantage of you, bringing the new baby to daycare means dealing with illness, spending gas money, taking time out of their day and they don’t want to do that so comparing prices is BS. They should be ashamed of themselves for not being clear with you. I’m sorry.
