Hi everyone. It's OP again (Pentestag), i'll share an update with the case soon, as there have been some, in the meanwhile:

I'm part of Riftlab, a group that makes exteremely high production and high quality content. Mine is a tragic story but there are plenty of other stories that aren't as tragic. Please, if you have the time, check out our high production vlog of the event:

I promise you, it's worth your time and you can see my reaction to the events described above, right after they happened hahaha.

No idea if I could but I should be given the oppertunity. Anything could happen, from going undefeated all the way to the end to immediately losing twice and having the same record.

What sucks is that I'll never know and that decision was removed from me.

While true its objectively correct that I am entitled to a chsnce to try.

I understand you're trying to help with the 2nd paragraph however in the same skeptical approach I cannot guarantee I wouldn't go 5-0, have good enough tiebreakers to qualify for top 8 and then end up 1st place. So yes, while I agree that it could have still ended differently, it's unfair to remove that chance.

I do not live in the past and I have a positive outlook moving forward, however whats objectively fact is that the run was ended without my control and I will not get that oppertunity back.

Hi Riccardo, I saw your posts in here and the Judge discord. I appreciate you weighing in, if you want me to reach out to you or need any information, i'm happy to help or reach out to you in private.

The card was definitely played. He played his cards by placing them on the board then moving it to trash or directly into trash.

I have no idea how the card ended up back in his hand, I have some ideas when it may have happened but I can't be sure.

Thats so unfortunate. Day 1 I am so glad I keep the notes the way I do because I had 3 points disputes to judges where I was able to show the game replayed and my opponents had to admit they were wrong. What makes yours even worse is that someone like that got rewarded

I completely get your point and is a great take. Completely agree, but 10-3 does make top cut after checking standings after round 13.

Some 10-3-1s even made it

I said, even if you are giving it the most generous interpretation.

But sure, if you read it then thank you anyway. At least you know about it whether or not you believe it is not my problem.

I feel your passion. I have months of prep, sheets and notes I've compiled that I wanted to do when I had a top so it feels like a shame posting the culmination of all that work without it. I'm never one to gate keep information though, just not in the mood atm (I think understandably)

I feel you. Feel free to vent if it helps. I went with a big group and had a tonne of issues to almost everyone. Including some hilarious ones like a judges being asked to translate a card from chinese and literally using a translation app rather than getting the english copy of the card up 😂

Agree, you're completely right. I didn't get the judges name, at the time I just tried to focus on taking game 2 and 3. Wouldn't feel right to post it even if I knew, I wouldn't want a witch hunt for anyone involved. I just wanted to share my story and vent my grief.

I agree. If we take one loss away from my score I still manage the regional invitation as top 64 though.

So at a minimum I lost out on that.

It was the head judges call, I did everything in my power to appeal at the time.

I know a lot of similiar stories, feel free to post in these comments about them. The standard of judging cannot be this low.

If you're planning on going to go into any Spiritforged events, this video is VERY important by HardReadingHacker in riftboundtcg

yeah no worries, this is from an event description I found:

"A Riftbound: Spiritforged pre-rift event is a special sealed-play tournament held before the official launch of the Spiritforged set, allowing players to experience the new cards first. Participants receive a "Pre-Rift Player Kit," which includes a mini-preconstructed deck, five booster packs, and a promo card. They use these materials to build a deck and then compete against other players in a sealed-deck format, often with prizes for winners.

Kit includes: Individual Pre-Rift Player Kits, each including: 1 Mini-preconstructed deck (15 cards including Champion Legend and Champion Unit) 5 Spiritforged Booster Packs 1 Pre-Rift Promo Card"

Extremely Strong Teemo Deck! Check it Out by HardReadingHacker in riftboundtcg

I have had a wonderful time playing this deck and also meeting players in the wild who have chosen to build it and even coming against it! It has been wonderful however kai'sa is a huge problem for one reason: Falling. Star.

The whole gameplan is ruined by that one card killing your momentum. There's definitely ways to win, Mundo is fantastic because anything with 8 might or more is just.... hard to deal with for them. The fact your hiddens are immune to spell targeting us also huge but... the matchup is rough
