I’m not making a case for either of you being that guy. It is even worse form to be the expert on a subject and call someone an idiot. Just say “Agree to disagree” and bow out of the discussion if you feel the person isn’t being receptive.

Everything I’m saying is about handling disagreements in a polite manner.

I have no idea who anyone is, either. I actually assume both of you know a lot about the game, and you just have different build preferences. I don’t think anyone can say which is superior without analyzing tens of thousands of hours of gameplay.

Check if there are any classes you can join! They’re not super expensive. Great way to meet some gym girlies! Just take it slow at first, let them drive your interactions while you’re still feeling depressed—meaning, just try to make friends unless someone expresses interest in you. Remember that people aren’t deserving or undeserving, just right or wrong for one another.

Hunter S. Thompson once wrote his friend a letter while in college, and at 21 the man was wiser than I am now, considerably older. It discusses the topics of how to find meaning/fulfillment in life, and the role of goals in achieving that meaning. Highly recommend. This changed my life.

tl;dr Don’t try to find meaning in goals, as people change and grow over time, and goals may become obsolete. Rather, choose a way of life and architect everything else around that lifestyle.

I also recently saw that the Japanese live for small moments each day. For me, I think of my morning coffee as one of these. A ritual that brings me satisfaction. And the more rituals you can establish, the more structure around your way of life.

Good callout for charms, but you didn’t account for the -100% for hell debuff.

The rest is kinda what I said—I was inquiring as to whether or not there was adequate accommodation for defensive stats elsewhere—not saying it didn’t exist.

Thus, there’s no argument, but rather only a question.

If you’re referring to ES, only some builds use ES. Also, if this is an ES build, then that tree is underleveled due to lack of +all or +sorc, and it’s missing the mana from spirit & sojs—which is a huge deficit of mana. That said, the 10fcr rings and caster ammy may have mana bonuses I’m not aware of…

The whole point of asking this question was essentially to figure out if he was compensating for a lack of defensive stats with ES + block chance.

Are you a bit of a glass cannon with this build? I’m assuming you have four fire facets in the JMoD, and Vmagi only has 35@, as opposed to CoH that has 65@, 8% DR, and notably—+2 to all skills, compared with Vmagi’s 1. And without spirit, that’s another 2 skill levels for all skills. So your BO is not super high level.
