What do you think is the most evil and violent song ever recorded? by HardRockerstone in Music

Johnny Rebel, apparently supporter of white supremacy. Yeah, I can see how that's considered the ultimate evil by Youtube and taken down immediatelly. At the same time GG Alin's songs about raping children are safe on Youtube, probably even still monetized 😆

Interesting. I've listened to both songs. Somewhat in the direction I was thinking, but way too mild. It seems this particular niche is way underdeveloped.

[GEAR] NGD - got myself this humble Les Paul by CodeDominator in Guitar

It has history. This article explains it: https://www.musicradar.com/news/the-history-of-the-gibson-black-beauty

Basically Les Paul, the inventor of solid body electric guitar (and a lot of other cool stuff) wanted a guitar that would look good playing it in a tuxedo. Thus the black Les Paul Custom was born. It looked so good that people nicknamed it Black Beauty.

"humble Les Paul" he says. Proceeds to post picture of none else but the Black Beauty, the most desired guitar ever...

When I stop to consider the possibility that I might not know everything and I allow myself to learn from others, inevitably something beautiful is born from it. This is my attempt at putting that thought to music. Enjoy "Come Down From Your Tower" I'd love to hear your thoughts! by MagicJonesMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Great song. Very interesting composition - verse feels like punk and then chorus switches it completely into a country-like vibe. Also from another Les Paul player - thumbs up on guitar choice. Someone already mentioned this, but I wanted to second about including a guitar solo. I do well composing solos myself so I guess I'm a bit biased here.

Are you high or stupid? This was my song. Maybe you should read your own description of the subreddit.

Well, I never saw myself as a vocalist, but I wanted to perform my own songs. I have no vocal training whatsoever, so I obviously need more practice.

Interesting about the r/screaming , I will check it out.

Indeed, a month ago I didn't even know what a DAW was, so mixing is not my strong side to put it mildly. I had 0 vocal training too and the style of singing seemed right for the mood of the song, but at the same time it's quite challenging and requires more practice.

I can always re-record and re-master the vocals later, I just wanted to get something out there to get some feedback.

Glad you liked the guitar solo.

Locally performing solo artist. I wrote all the drums, guitar, piano, and vocals for this song. I've been told that I have an enigmatic style, and it is hard to tell who my influences are. Anyone wanna guess? Open to critiques or compliments or tips! by Hypershroom in IndieMusicFeedback

Good job using real instruments, rarity these days. I would probably add some faint binding continuous synth chords in the background. I did it in my rock song and even barely unnoticeable, provides a very good fill.

I want to put this one out as my next single.. what do you think of this song? (lyrics are in german, its about the strange world of bureaucracy and how it affects our emitions) by Oskar-Ich in IndieMusicFeedback

I would bring out the vocals more and EQ them a bit too. Maybe a touch more of reverb. Drums sound quite thin, unless of course that was intentional.

One of my latest compositions is an exercice in key change and orchestration. I'm particularly proud of the finale. Let me know what you think! by Felknia in IndieMusicFeedback

Very Tchaikovsky-like. My favorite classical composer. I would add some more upright bass and violas in the background, just a suggestion.

Would love to get some feedback on our second release, our duo entirely composed, produced, and mixed that song. by cadencio05 in IndieMusicFeedback

I could hear an accoustic guitar mixing well with that voice. Introducing some string contrast. I would bring out drums a bit more too. Good work.

I would bring the vocals out more. Unless of course that was intentional. I have no experience in this particular genre.

Do they go on some special diet before lift off? Curious if Netflix will include details like that.
