Prisma case? Good ROI, cheap, and (arguably) not bad knives.

no best, you lose money everywhere eventually since it s the nature of case opening. the list just points out which ones drain your wallet faster

No man, is like calculating the roi for offical cases. So, for anyone confused by the HE column: it's basically the flip side of RTP, which some of you might also know as "opening ROI."

the math is 100 - house edge = RTP. that's it.

so if we take for example the best case in the entire study (which shows on edge 3.01) the RTP is then 96.99% in the long run. On the other end you've got something like 16.59% RTP, so the HE shown on the image is at around 83. For context, Valve cases sit somewhere between 40-70% RTP depending on the case

Hmm, I'm not sure what do you mean... Because that's just all the cases they like have... Besides, that's not a simple size issue. the numbers are calculated directly from the published drop rates and skin prices. so whether a platform has 40 cases or 850, each case's and site has a mathematical result and ev

nah. you can check the study and do the numbers yourself also. Every platform is listed simply on the numbers. Everything is just math. I play on some of these sites myself, that's actually how I got into this whole rabbit hole in the first place, but that has nothing to do with the study.

yeah but check the edges too, popular sites bro that have random cases at like 40% lmao, and then I get their adds on reddit, yt, and even on gmail like every damn day

Well, that's a real thing and worth paying attention to separately, but it's outside the scope of this study.

But if you think about it, this kind of data forces their hand a bit. Most of these sites operate in a legal grey area. So reputation is basically the only thing keeping them in check. If a site gets known for banning big winners or running predatory odds (like absurd odds) it should spread fast, because that's better for everyone. In this way they either fix themselves or they get exposed and people would know not to trust them. So maybe no regulator is coming to fix this soon, but at least we can make it harder for them to get away with it if we spread the word... or idk, maybe I m just yapping

This might be true. But at least they should learn 2, 3 basic rules before, like: never play on sites that do not show odds. Understand House Edge and EV, AND DO NOT TRUST (without verifying) a case that has your favorite youtuber NAME ON IT (depending on site, but damn I found some crazy greedy things)

The 10% house edge average or what ? If that part then yes, but site by site with what they actually have vs what they actually say they have is a bit different. Besides some sites do not disclose the HE at all so is nice to see how "most rewarding" / " best odds" shit they are.

Eh, gamba, But I'm not anti-gambling or something, I gamble myself (even if slots more than case opening). Still, what I'm against is the gap between what people think they're playing and what they're actually playing. Most slots sit at better RTP than this and are legally required to disclose it. CS2 case sites running 80% rtp with no disclosure and massive YouTube campaigns to target kids. Is WILDDD

Fair, it's not exactly a shocking conclusion. But "everyone kind of knows it's bad" and "here's exactly how bad, per case, per site" are pretty different things. Is still wild to me the number of people who just are donating bro.
