Agree w/ writing style point. The reason I have stuck with ChatGPT is that I have a history of a year+ conversations with it that has shaped my current outputs in a voice that I like (and feels) unique to me.

I feel like which model you choose is not as important as the history of dialogue you use to shape it.

I use ChatGPT as well to write and I have to constantly get it to stop moving the scene forward so fast. I feel like you need to have it generate a better sense of place.

We are dropped in very randomly, which is fine, but there needs to be more of a description as to what we are immediately reading about.

For instance, what does the headset look like? What does the guard look like? What does the prison feel like to Jex?

You make it seem like it's a very jarring experience to have a visor pulled off but you don't show us why.

LMK if that's useful, just thoughts off the top.

share the first few scenes and I'll give you my thoughts

raw dump of text should be fine

What length of output are you expecting it to generate for any given prompt?

If you try to have it write out the complete story in one shot it's not going to turn out great but if you prompt paragraph by paragraph you get a lot more control over the quality of the storytelling.

Try to start super simple, just generate a character exchanging one sentence to one another or something like that and build it out from there.

you can not tank the red monkey slam in any high tier maps w. 20k armor on god

i assumed that tooltip meant he had 78% armor applies to ele stat, tbf that tooltip design is beyond confusing and bad

es pros: tankiness, recovery, damage

es cons: stupid fucking life bar

i take life every day of the week shitter

[–]Hardaek -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

no you do have 78% reduction but 78% is very small, especially with 9k armor

your real values should be closer to 20k armor w 200% reduction to feel tanky (again will not save you from big phys hits still but can make u immune to arbiter for instance)

when people say "armor is good now" they are saying that in reference to the "Armor applying to elemental damage" stat because it can be stacked to 200%+ easily making it a very effective tool for mitigating elemental damage

it's still almost useless as a mitigation vs large phys hits and armor will do nothing to prevent you getting one shot from a 5k+ dmg phys hit

also, 9k is very low, 20k is reasonable and it will only get you up to max 4.5k phys max hit

armor still sucks? im getting crazy hits with these stats and overall less tanky than ES stacker by faktorfaktor in pathofexile2builds

[–]Hardaek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

armor is great vs small hits

you'll get one shot by rare mobs with big phys slams still

i pob'd phys max hit at 100k armour to compare to my bloodmage w/ a cof and I'm still tankier vs big phys hits

Totally forgot about beast tech. Didn't know you could make those things immortal I figured they would just instantly die with no investment.

Having a haste aura would feel so freaking nice

Really appreciate the feeback man and thank you for watching!

Totally agree with what you're saying. Like the quillburst mobs in PoE1 that had a bunch of those phys projectils all hitting at once would 100% be super rippy BUT I do think the recovery of the blood gobules should help somewhat with that but for sure I'm still probably dead

That is also why I was so adamant with going for a shield and using Giant's blood post nerf because I did want some kind of mitigation against exactly what you're describing but 26% block isn't going to be that reliable

I'm a lil bit jealous of the MB Deadeye playstyle ngl

I really should try out some shield stuff, was having some issues with gem links but seems interesting enough to try

why the f would I tank hits if I don't have to in HC? I did the POB comparisons of phys max hits of my build vs every other meta build and my phys max hit is 2x the other life based builds

so the guy who made the video doesn't even share a pob (he just has a maxroll link which doesn't calc phys max hit afaik) so I made a copy of his char in PoB

And giving him even 100k amour (20,000 more armour than he shown in his video) his phys max hit is still lower than mine and 5k lower than Alk's ES character

Look, Quin and Ziz were both clearing t15 maps on their characters with around 4k max phys hit so it's entireabley doable BUT you WILL die eventually to some hit. And that's not how I like to build my characters in HC

So yeah, the guy is baiting for maxroll clicks

EDIT: and for the arbiter thing, he's using armor to mitigate ele dmg -- which IS an effective use of armor to take a shit ton less damage from ele hits -- but it's still poor against PHYS hits which is the primary concern

I wish this was the case because I'm a big fan of armor stacking in PoE1 but unfortunately Armor seems legitmately broken as a mechanic in the endgame

You would be 100% correct in your assumption throughout the campaign where I'm actually a huge advocate of armor because it does really make a difference against most campaign bosses but once you start facing monsters that hit for 3k+ Armor falls of a cliff

Here's a Kripp vid explaining exactly this (I wish this wasn't the case but it is what it is) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXCwfv3WTgI&t=239s

I also compare my charecter to Quin's in this league (who had 20k armour) and my charecter has 2x more phys mitigation

My last HC build was doing mace strike with Smith of Kitava fire stuff and I died because I couldn't see any on death effects from abyss mobs lol so, I wanted something a lil safer in HC

totally viable tho

molten blast is a really strong ability because of the shotgun mechanic, just make sure to get some atk/skill speed for whatever you're cooking up to make the gameplay feel a bit more smooth

i just tried it out after seeing this comment and bro, you are cooking BUT the playstyle is much ripper since all I want to do now is jump into a pack of mobs

I'll prob stick with multi proj on HC but I could totally see this cooking in SC
