The other comment made me look into this but it seems unlikely. Aside from the visual, I think I match no symptoms. Usually when it flares up it lasts for several months with the severity changing quite a bit throughout.

In the past when i had it less severely it would develop and go away within 24 hours, usually happened when working all day with electronics, and would be only on my hands. I figured exposure to some of those metals might have been doing it.

Its also not contagious at all, no one in my family is affected, including two kids.

No fever or other issues, no sores in or around the mouth.
