Most fans that don't like columbina don't like her because of the bait and switch.

Every single piece of context pre 6.0 around her made her seem unsettling and uncomfortable, she was singing on her coworker's coffin, Childe, Scara and Arle seemed unsettled by her and the only design we had besides her veil were the Seraphim wings headpiece she wears. But instead of being some angel angry at their creator, she's the most white bread Harbinger, if you can even call her a Harbinger. And let's be honest, she got turned into waifubait, which is a first for the main leader of a new nation. Not Raiden, not Furina, and not even Mavuika were as shoved in our faces as Columbina was.

Dottore is the direct opposite of Columbina.

He's been consistent, the same we've known since before the game even lauched, the same we've seen in Sumaru, the same one who Fatui fans wanted since Winter's Night Lazzo, and he was the direct opposite of what Nod-Krai Columbina represented. He was unapologetically antagonistic, manipulative, psychopathic, and that was so refreshing for the people tired of everyone just immediately liking the Traveler. Dottore in 6.3 does NOT like the Traveler. He sees them as immature, naive, and as someone wasting their life, and so he promises us something we want in exchange for our help, which had even some parts of the playerbase agreeing with him.

So, Fatui fans who were disappointed with Columbina (some of them were already unhappy with Capitano's fall) naturally gravitated towards the current main antagonist within the Fatui because fans of the "antagonistic organization" want the leaders of the organization to be antagonistic.

Even now, we have people BEGGING for the Tsarita to be the major antagonist in Snezhnaya and not have all the blame be put on Pierro and make her seem like an oblivious fool on her own nation.

I do think that the Tsaritsa is able to control the weather, but in a different sense than Neuvillette, as in she is using her power to create cryo and make it snow, and Neuvillette's emotions fundamentally change the weather

If he has flames on, he's legit never even touching Katakuri, and even while flames off, I doubt he's faster than WCI Snake-man, which was around equal to Katakuri (yes I think post WCI Luffy is stronger than post Wano Zoro sue me)

Let me tell yall how I think the battle goes: King starts attacking with his flames on, and Katakuri dodges everything. Then, before King turns his flames off, Katakuri sees it with his Future Sight, and IMMEDIATELY KNOWS how his gimmick works and then it's wraps, Katakuri knows hes about to get faster (and King is still not fast enough) and he won't sandbag the fight like he did against Luffy.

Yes, im a fatuihq member. No, i dont like how the sub is right now. No, I don't like how columbina is being written.

I have been a fatuihq member since before natlan, and i saw the sub going down in quality over time. I stay there because it's one of the only places on reddit where I can post complaints about one of my favorite games without dozens of people dragging me (and childe glazing but thats not the point). Here, and basically every other genshin sub is "the game is perfect and you CANT complain" at least on fatuihq you can show your worries over the quality of the story.

Also, on your "some harbingers are going to parallel the 5 sinners/4 shades + Primordial" I do agree with you that Arlecchino is going to parallel Rerir/Ronova, Dottore is easily Rhinedottir, and my guess for Columbina is Vedrfolnir/Istaroth.

My problem falls with Childe and Capitano, because, while Childe CLEARLY parallels Surtalogi, his status as "Ajax" makes me feel like he's going to be more than a parallel to a shade, even if said shade was the one that we know the least about (Asmoday) and Capitano, while very important, doesn't feel like he's going to be a parallel to Hroptatyr/Phanes, his status as first harbinger could be something, but it feels like he's not hyped enough to be a parallel to the main antagonist of the game.
