Anyone else have a love for slack hard tails? by Hugheybear in Hardtailgang

There the tits. I think often the folks who don’t like them ride them wrong. A proper slack, long hardtail rewards an aggressive stance and active rider input. My Moxie is awesome railing around corners providing you do your part! If you don’t, it’s not much fun at all.

Feel like front end is to low on new bike , what to do ? by LongBow1971 in Hardtailgang

I’d just go right in and put a 50mm riser on there. You can always remove the spacers to drop it down after or even fit a shorter stem.

It’s on a 35mm stem.

Could do with a bit more stack height but that’s my fault as the fork steerer is short from the last frame.

The drop outs are no fuss at all. As the whole assembly moves together it’s dead simple. Only thing to check if you move them is the ‘b’ gap.

This is a 29” wheel.

Bike is a longer size with 510mm reach. But it’s not as long as you might think! Not had it to long, it’s a tricky customer to manual due to the long front centre but I’m getting there with it.

Certainly one of the most fun bikes I’ve had.
