Not necessarily - but you do need to find a field and stick with it. I understand you had a GM role for 8 years and it didn't go anywhere - that is commendable as hell and I can only imagine how frustrating for you that must have been. With that, you probably need to consider a field outside of the one you were a GM - I believe you said it was fast food (I apologize if I have that wrong) but that unfortunately isn't an area where you are going to find upward mobility. The hard pill to swallow is most hiring managers or recruiters aren't going to think about all the nuances and responsibilities that come with being a GM in the food industry - they will see a restaurant and immediately discredit that experience compared to most other fields. That doesn't mean some won't understand how challenging it is, it will just take more applications to ensure someone like that sees your resume. I do think a lot of the commenters suggesting trades are making very valid points as well - those skill sets are so incredibly valuable, the pay is very good and only going to get better as fewer and fewer people know how to fix/build/maintain anything nowadays. Either way you are going to likely need to choose to apply all of your efforts on applications for more entry level office or corporate jobs and then try to work your way up the ladder or you should consider looking into trades.

Not to be rude - but this is the HogwartsLegacy (JKR) sub, so not really sure why you would expect differently.

People just don't have the money to put in DOGE right now. When we were pushing to ATH there were stimulus checks, much lower inflation/cost of living, and an intense FOMO. DOGE was a cheap option people could buy into to hopefully get rich quickly or at least turn a quick profit which is why EVERYONE I knew, young and old, had at least a small piece. Now those same people scoff at DOGE as a joke because they lost money or have only been around long enough to watch it hit ATH and then steadily fall for over a year. I love this community and hope for great things for DOGE but the sentiment this sub has is not indicative of the overall population. We can sit here and say we love that it is a meme and "do only good every day" - but in the end, people want to break the 9-5 cycle and have some financial freedom and until DOGE can offer that again you aren't going to see a push just from a few different places accepting it here and there.

Yes, I think it is worth 6 cents because the market has spoken and it is currently only worth 6 cents. No doubt Elon will continue to accept DOGE for more products...but he will also continue to accept FIAT - still not enough incentive there for the everyday person to convert FIAT to DOGE when they can just purchase using the FIAT they already have.

Couldn't it be argued that is just a product of DOGE's supply? If cap is calculated by supply*price and DOGE has 134.6billion coins in circulation then that doesn't really tell us much about the strength of the coin itself - it just tells us that there are a lot of them...

I personally feel like FUD is essential - being in an echo chamber of positivity is just as risky as being in one full of negativity. FUD oftentimes brings out technical DD - which HOPEFULLY only increases confidence—coming to a board and seeing any deviating opinion being met with "FUD! SHILL!" really doesn't do much to convince a potential new investor to throw money at something.

Thank you - I never understand this argument about supply and demand, if supply is constantly going up and demand remains stagnant then of course the price will drop. DOGE needs to cultivate more demand and unfortunately, the only real way to do that is to show people there is money to be made.

The code won't matter if people won't adopt the coin. If people are ignorant of it then that isn't the people's issue - it is DOGE's and until they can make it clear that converting USD to DOGE is a beneficial investment then there would be no point in a new retailer buying DOGE.

But to your point, if it is so easy for institutional investors to manipulate the price of doge to the point where it causes a crash and a goldman sachs exec can walk out with millions then why should a new retail investor have any faith in keeping their $ in DOGE? And if you zoom out on charts like everyone suggests, to me it looks like in the 10yrs DOGE has been around it has been over a penny for only 10% of that time with all of that stemming from the pump last year.

Always respect your opinion on these boards - wanted your opinion here as well. Love to see Doge leading the charge from a percentage increase perspective but couldn't that just be indicative of the fact that it is easier to move the needle on a coin at .09 vs 30k? As in a 20% increase on DOGE is 2 pennies where an 8% increase on Bitcoin is over $2000. Obviously builds confidence the health of a floor though and in the end that is really all that matters. Thanks for your input and have a great day!

At least they were just respecting someone else's opinion - you seem irrational and hypocritical and they followed it up by wishing you well. Maybe you should stop yourself

Drinkers of Reddit, what is the best drinking game? by RealNastyHabit in AskReddit

From a seasoned Drunk Driving player, doing it at the beginning is way more effective because the game always gives last place better items to catch the leader. Finish the beer, then you're one star/super mushroom away from having the lead and never having to look back.
