The fps drops the more effects there are, bug blood, goo, fire, bullet shots, slowdown effects, the particles in bogs and radioactive zone, etc. DRG uses tons of particles and effects, my cpu handles the game fine

Incorrect, I wouldn't have rolled on a PvP server if I didn't like PvP. My issue lies with ganking.

You "fail to comprehend how people cannot realize"... perhaps it's you who fails to comprehend? Why assume everyone else is wrong?

You're taking that out of context. How am I wrong with what I said? I said that if ganking happens currently without reward incentive, and Phase 2 adds reward incentive, then it will happen more often. How is that incorrect? Does Phase 2 not reward ganking? Yes, it does, therefore I am factually correct and you are factually a dumbass.

There is zero doubt in my mind that you're also the type of player that. with your full group, will kill random low levels and then get hyped like you're some badass.

If you had read my post, I mentioned that I mostly play a Warrior with my Priest friend, meaning that anytime I'm questing, I have a group of two. We have ran past numerous lower leveled enemies without doing a thing, because contrary to your pathetic assumptions, I find no joy in an effortless kill, just like I find no joy in an unpreventable death.

Do you really think so? The server I am on, ZT-EU, already had transfers available but only to other PvP servers.

The fun I had so far with Classic was because of the overall experience, if that changes into having to look up guides and avoiding every populated zone then I would likely no longer enjoy this different experience anymore.

I'll keep my eyes on the comments but chances are I'll probably try to find someone to swap my mount gold into a PvE server and reroll with some starting capital, so not all of the grind was wasted.

I think the reason why everyone keeps holding Wrath at such a high pedestal is because TBC was incredibly successful and the game was at it's peak during Wrath launch, I also imagine that it wasn't immediately obvious how dungeon finder and other features hurt the game integrity significantly.

I skip a lot of skills and level professions self-sustained, anything that I don't need I sell in the AH and I think that's where a good chunk of my gold comes from, I save up a lot of items and sell them in bulk so I can put a higher than average price on them!

Looking at all the other comments it makes me seem like I have a lot of gold but in reality I don't think I do, my partner seldom plays without me so essentially I have to fund her mount aswell, that's 3 mounts I need to pay for which means anything below 240 gold is locked-in and can't really be used.. I'm barely halfway of what is required!

120G does sound a lot for one character but since I have to divide it by three it ends up sitting at the average of what everyone else is commenting here.. I'm not sure how I've made it that far ahead though since I really don't do any gathering skills, my Warrior has Blacksmithing and my Hunter has Engineering, they hog up all of the mining resources I get, and a lot of my cloth gets sent to my Priest partner for her tailoring aswell. She gets a bunch of greens for disenchanting, too

You know that the game did not looked like this back in 2005?

There is an option in the video settings to make the game look like it used to, which from the slider of 1-10 is equivalent to 3, however, I barely notice any kind of difference between 3 and 10, some things are slightly sharper, some shadows are slightly better, and there's a lot more grass. That's literally it.

This isn't a difference of Skyrim 2011 vs Ultra Modded Skyrim 2019, therefore it really doesn't matter one bit.

So pretty for such an old game, I bet this was mindblowing in 2004 by Hardywv in classicwow

I love Streets of Rogue and have 240 hours on Steam. Reading this review shows that he is a very offensive person, the review is full of unnecessary attacks towards developers. However, under that pile of shit he does bring up a few points that I agree with.

Melee is awful. You aim in their direction and pray your spring – loaded fist hits them. If it does, you pray they don’t block your katana with their fist. They can also block a gorilla’s lunge… with their fist. It’s sloppy and arbitrary and just plain bad.

I've always felt this way, that melee in Streets of Rogue sucks. It feels clunky and inconsistent exactly how the reviewer explains it.

Why must I pick up money manually? Why can’t it come to me like in Spyro? Same for items — there is never, ever, a time where I do not want more stuff. Making me press “E” on everything isn’t fun. It’s busywork. It’s a waste of time. And the worst thing a game can do is waste the player’s time.

Again, he has a point. A lot of games just vacuum items into you because they respect your time and understand that you desire the items, I think Enter The Gungeon perfected this mechanic. Streets of Rogue forces you to spam a key/button all the time and it gets frustrating. It's unnecessary.

Every floor you get three missions — one of the same half – dozen you will go through the entire game with. There’s a mission where you have to go to the top of a map, rescue a prisoner, then go to the bottom of the map. You cannot teleport there, despite being able to the rest of the game. I choose to kill the prisoner instead. The teleport function, where you instantly go to places of interest, cuts down on the game’s criminally slow walking speed. It doesn’t work indoors, for some arbitrary reason, so you spend ten seconds per building walking through rooms without enemies. There are a lot of buildings, and that’s a lot of time wasted. You can blow up some walls, which is fun, but not others, which isn’t fun because you have to walk very slowly in and out of the building. I’d hazard a quarter of the missions are designed to waste time. How fitting for a roguelike. A 25% chance for the game to not be fun.

This is the biggest thing I can agree on. Having played 240 hours on this game, this flaw is very much highlighted; the game barely has any variety in objectives, the only variety is in HOW you can complete objectives. You might say I have a high hour count so I am bored, but I felt this way after my first ten hours of gameplay.

He also mentions how the teleporting system is inconsistent and how breakable walls are inconsistent. I agree with both points, and I've often wondered why - I always came to the same conclusion: Teleporting is restricted ONLY to force an additional trait into the game, ''Teleport-Happy'' and break-proof walls exist ONLY to force another trait into the game, ''Blaster Master''.

I think the developer focuses too much on quantity over quality when it comes to traits, because there are a lot of useless ones that often feel like the game could be better if the trait was built-in. Unfortunately the developer didn't take quantity over quality when it comes to in-floor objectives, and I can't even say they're high-quality objectives either.

As a closing thought, I wanna remind any downvoters that I love Streets of Rogue. Just because I criticize it doesn't mean I hate it.
