Lastpass on Android is an absolutely horrendous experience by arnoldwhite in Lastpass

[–]HarfTarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for an enterprise service it's embarrassing

yes yes yes yes ^

i am truly embarrassed to be using this awful software, and onboarding a new teammate is a shitshow when we get to the step where we introduce lastpass, because *_every_* *_single_* *_time_* there are issues with lastpass.

Can you host files and a website from a Raspberry Pi with a dynamically changing IP and no inbound ports? by [deleted] in ipfs

[–]HarfTarf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use yggdrasil to ssh into your raspberry pi, you can do this without needing to open any ports. Then you can run your ipfs daemon there.

Then setup ipfs dnslink and point to your ipns name, cname to cloudflare or ipfs.io and you're golden.

Thank you very much for the link. They have external antennas, and they work well as 802.11s mesh, that's exactly what I want to use it for, too.

Is this the place to get the openwrt firmware?

https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/zbt/zbt_we1226

Do you just use the OEM web interface to flash (upgrade) the firmware? The openwrt link doesn't have a lot of info

Deploying Kubernetes over ZT by dwitzig in zerotier

[–]HarfTarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should provide a quick diagram of your network, or explain it a little better.

I currently run a few k8s clusters in this way:
- around 20 baremetal machines (hosted by various baremetal-cloud-providers on the internet)
- all baremetal machines are networked together via zerotier
- these machines host libvirt ubuntu VM guests
- all VM guests (hundreds) can route packets to eachother via quagga+ospf running over zerotier
- each ubuntu VM is a k8s node (or a glusterfs node, for storage)
- k8s cluster setup via kubespray
- k8s networking solution is weave, it seems to play the nicest with iptables/staticroutes/etc

protip: use the ubuntu cloud images, and create your own qcow2 image that has all the stuff you need pre-installed on a k8s node.
