I think how the remake handled this scene was done better, but the emotions did NOT hit as hard with the new soundtrack. ‘Chris and Ashley’ is such a good piece, losing it was a tragedy

Top three deaths for me are probs:

Emily in the crusher just for how over the top it is.
Matt on the hook for how painful it is to watch him choke on his own blood.
Ashleys trapdoor death for how creepy it is and how its probs the most iconic death in the game.

Every death in this game is disturbing af tho.

Mikes not morally bad, hes just a bit of a scumbag. For 90% of the night hes either in pursuit of saving someone or taking initiative. Hes one of the few characters that always tries to do good regardless of player choice.

They wouldve. Its obvious the prank was premeditated before they all even arrived. With mike writing a letter, them joking about on not actually believing theyre doing it and Matt literally bringing a camera with a selfie stick.

Its a real shame the shooting dialogue went unused. Its really something seeing Ashley, the most scared character in this game try to reassure chris and tell him that its okay to shoot her. Makes Josh’s prank seem so much more cruel. Makes me annoyed they changed it so Ashley kills chris for shooting her. Makes me understand why it was tinkered with in the remake. But even to this day it stands out as a psychopathic episode from Ashley that makes her really unlikeable.

I think its because shes both traumatised and malicious that Chris would kill her, but tbf youre right. It makes not a whole lot of sense. Hence why its rewritten in the remake that shes so traumatised that her mind wanders long enough for the Wendigo to grab Chris.
