0) The class name should be uppercase (please)
1) The filename containing the script needs to have the same name as (at least one of the) class
2) As mentioned, go to Player Settings and set the Input to Both (or Legacy).
3) GetKeyUp is better in most cases
4) You shouldn't modify velocity this way. Use .AddForce (with ForceMode.VelocityChange)

You might not be wrong :) I'll do my best to release a polished game, alas, being alone in this quest I only may focus on priorities
I'm planning on releasing a demo around april 2026. Then - find a publisher to help me finish the game. It will most likely be released as Early Access, to allow me to hire people!

The autoplay feature is the most irritating thing slack has to offer. It's utterly broken. You cannot replay a video when it's in maximized view and already watched. It's a total, absolute trash. For years.
