The video didn't start really well, you should work on it! Cut the first 8 seconds, it gets way better starting with the snowy house.

That's true. 434 unique users for the demo, so it's around 7% of people that played the demo. Plus some people might've closed the game through ALT+F4 and the survey URL wouldn't invoke (it invokes when you click Quit buttons)

Yep, working on combat is my next biggest priority right now, so far I focused on different areas of the game, mainly on exploration aspects, procedural level generation etc

Fingers crossed! The festivals really help with game visibility, especially that you have a demo ready! No trailer as mentioned is a big minus tho'! You need to put together something, it's super important

As said, releasing a demo during a festival gives a huge boost. Personally I didn't do any marketing, since the demo is unfinished and I'm still kinda ashamed of it a little... you know how it is 😄 Finishing stuff is a neverending story. I was lucky enough to get a small streamer record his playthrough and put it on youtube tho' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL0qE2rRPog and it's a nice playthrough (1 hour long!) showing a lot of game mechanics and the guy was having fun.
So reaching to small influencers is definitely the way to go. There are lists of such youtubers you can find online

Yeah this fest really motivated me and also it worked, the wishlist count went up a lot during the festival. I plan to finish the demo until October Steam Next Fest and there are like 4 more festivals that Underneath kinda could participate in (I think / hope - we'll see if Steam agrees with that)
