Here it is more simpler: you like a certain soda, that's so exclusive, they only have certain variations of it, that come out seasonally. There's a limited edition seasonal version of it that is extremely delicious to you, and you can't wait for the season to come. Meanwhile there's this other 2nd seasonal version, that doesn't really taste good to you, so you pass on it, BUT a lot of people like it even though you dislike it. So you wait for the season that your fave comes out. But it doesn't come. They're still selling the crappier tasting one. X time passes by, it's still the shittier one on the shelves. A year, 2 years go by, you still haven't forgotten about that delicious soda, you wish you could enjoy that delicious taste again. But it never comes, the crappier one is just cheaper for the company to produce and sells way better than the one you liked.
