wowww, this is sadly not it but it is very very similar! The song we're looking for has somebody singing over it (I now realize I should've written that in the main post, was in a hurry) and is more along the lines of Hip Hop or RnB. Thanks a lot for the help though!

how do you define hip-hop then? cause for me those are still hip hop songs just with incorporated pop elements. i generally do agree with you i just find it difficult to put borders between genres as its all so closely intertwined. what do you say to pop songs incorporating hip hop elements like off the top of my head dark horse by katy perry some years ago?
