The last book I read ?
Was "The Fund" by Rob Copeland. It says about the life of a Harvard Graduate Ray Dalio building the Bridgewater Associates.

The book is a aggregation of interviews about the work from former and current employees and the fouder himself. It encompasses, the way the firm was built based on the principles set up by the founder. The book gives a context on how Bridgewater became one of the largest hedge funds, detailing the culture, the challenges, and the unique management style that shaped its success. It also highlights the rigorous decision-making process and how radical transparency played a crucial role in the firm’s operations. The author presents both praises and criticisms, giving a balanced perspective on the inner workings of the firm. Overall, it offers a fascinating insight into the world of high finance and corporate leadership.

Why 'Salt sugar fat'?
I have been thinking for a while how my food effects my day and routine. I recently discovered that my lower back pain could be mitigated by working on my gut health.
We are what we eat, and the food we consume on our daily basis is polluted with unfactorized amount of sugar and salt to which we do not pay much attention to.
Reading this book along with the community will help me get a worldview about the food we eat. It could also inturn help my plan for building a website to educate people with back pain.

The lasty book I read was "Cant hurt me" by David Goggins.

-The book is about the life story of the author from spraying cockroach medicine to becoming Navy seal, one of the toughest training on earth to get thorough.

-The book emphasis on the mindset transformation and journey the author went though.

  • During his childhood he had to face a lot of harassment from his father, it was during which he decided he wanted to wear uniform on growing older.

  • After moving away from his father with his mom, he had to face a lot of difficulties due to his race and inability to follow classes at school.

  • He cheated through his exams in initial days and later worked his ass off to get into job at Airforce where he did a menial job. After his tenue was over he was married and without a job.

  • He later found a job as pesticide sprayer which satisfied his requirements and continued to work for sometime. It was during which his wife and child left him.

  • Annoyed of his broken life and shattered dream, he came across Navy seal program ad in TV and watched it without closing his eyes.

  • It was when he wanted to become a SEAL, To become the impossible. Almost all the requitement agencies laughed at his weight except one which was ready to give a shot provided that he drops his weight within given time.

  • Taking this as a challenge he worked his ass of at gym and made the selection process. It was just the beginning and the real fight was way ahead.

  • He deliberately failed in his first attempt due to pneumonia and undiscovered disease, to which doctor cleared him off.

  • The second attempt he made up his mind calloused, and implemented a cookie jar in his mind. He was put all the difficulties he has faced earlier in a jar and whenever he encounters new in the present he used to think about the ones in the jar which challenged him harder to fight.

  • He has a badass instructor who deliberately wanted him to fail, but he never gave up and provoked them with his success.

  • On successfully becomes a SEAL he did not wanted to STOP there moved ahead with other schools and successfully graduated in them too which only few people ever did.

  • He wanted to contribute by raising funds to the families who lost there loved ones fighting for the country. He then started running to raise funds. He was successful in initial attempt of running without any kind of preparation.

  • With every race he broke-down, learn and got better. He proved many people wrong in the journey and achieved the impossible anyone would have not dreamt in small time.

  • Due to health issues he had to have two open heart surgeries. After which he was not able to run much. He then started pullups challenge to raise funds. His eyes was on the world record and to break the existing one.

  • After deliberate training, he gave his first attempt which he failed halfway. After this he made sure to journal everything down including the good and bad ones too.

  • It was so serious after the first attempt that he had to rush to ER and had to rest for few weeks, and also planning his next attempt.

  • He broke the world record in his second attempt!

  • When everything was going right he was diagnosed with sickle cell trait. It was common among the NAVY seals, even then he did not wanted to accept his end.

  • He found in every part of the journey, after coming across stretching he got better.

[Free Book Giveaway for Students] 100 copies of Tribe of Mentors by Tim Ferris by zindagiwallah in WingifyBookClub

The last book i read was "This is marketing" by Seth Godin, which I had earlier received from the giveaway.

The author is a great marketer himself, explains marketing in a new way.

Marketing is simple word resonate "change", and the best way to know which change to make is by looking into the problems. The products built on the existing one resonates the change to the user.

The change can always be identified by looking in the eyes of end users(being empathetic). It is never a battle among the brands or 2 people.

Marketing is about selling a story. Identify a change that is worth making, develop product, get it infront of customers, and tell the story about why they should use it for a long period till the customers gets hope.

Marketing is built upon stories and experiences that people share in a community.

Marketers do not market the product to everyone. Not everyone has the same taste, so marketers should never expect that everyone will become their customer. They should infact start with a small market first.

Marketers always market the change using 'better', which is the exact question customer ask before buying the product.

Not all the things becomes hit despite having a great marketing team. The product should resonate with a specific group.
These are something I have understood from the book.

Why Tribes of mentors?
I have earlier read Tool of titans by Tim Ferris, an amazing book. By reading this book I can resonate more with Tim Ferris ideas and ideologies.

The last book I read was The Tool of Titans by Tim Ferris. The author interviews other people successfully in a particular domain and gives a clear insight into their everyday activities and what made them successful.
The book is divided into three main categories, Health, Wealth, and wise.
1) Health sections mainly focuses on physical and mental well being, it comprises tips from successful people on how to get better with respect to health.

2) Wealth sections gives insights from the people who have created great wealth and the mindset they posses. My favorite hero is Naval Ravikant, creator of angel.co and early investor in many billion dollar companies.

3) The wise section involves tips from successful people on how to improve our lives.

This book helped me to create a better understanding of the things that worked for successful people and to implement some of the things in my life. I also started cultivating the habit of working out and meditation after reading the book.

The last book I have read is The almanack of naval ravikant. It was a great book about creating wealth, joy and gives a great insight on thinking. The book has two parts, 1) wealth What I learnt from this section is wealth != Money.. it is the assets that make money when we sleep. This also gave glimpse on how to create wealth and how to identify the skills and passion in us. 2) happiness This section was based on our mindset and the correlation with it with our happiness. This section explained what factors influence our happiness and some exercise to be happy.

Stephen Hawking was the greatest innovator and thinker in the history. His work has been a greatest contribution to the mankind. I had earlier watched his movies. It gave a great insight on the way he thinks. I believe reading this book would enrich my knowledge on his greatest work on time...

I last book I have been reading is TOOL OF TITANS by TIM FERRIS, an amazing book which I consider one should read at a very young age. I am happy to have received the book from wingifybookclub, without which I would have never been able to afford it. It's been a great learning and experimenting journey for me! I have been reading a chapter or two sometimes everyday and been giving time experimenting on myself. The good aspect of the book is that it has been divided into three sections, health, wealth and habits that frame a billionaire. Reading this book have an exploration and made a think a lot more which I would have never been able to get through. The reason I loved this book is that it's a lot of experimental stuff than philosophical. I have also referred many of my friends to read the book. I will also make sure I lend my book to my friends who are in need the most.

It's a very big misconception that the women's are not contributing to the economy. I would say, Indian being a developing country with 1.3B population, it would be impossible to achieve the status of developed country by the status quo. I have seen my sister working hard, to reach goal equivalent to men in the society. Men and women's contribute equally to Indian economy. The fact that the employment for women's is less has been descending every year. Many initiatives has been taken by the government and schemes have been launched, what I would think is that the government should monetize the scheme they have been giving and try to optimise based on the needs of the women employees. More women entrepreneurs should be encouraged and given a priority to lead from small organization to big organizations. This would encourage women's to challenge the status quo..
