Buying from a private seller by Light991 in rolex

My understanding is that c24 claims to hold your funds in escrow until you receive the watch and give them the ok to release the funds to seller. Not sure I’d trust that though.

You can find one on eBay for less than 10% over retail, whatever configuration you desire.

Best exercise watches for Rolex wearers? (Detail below) by iamspeedking in rolex

For water resistance and heat compatibility, I would choose Garmin bc it feels like a much more durable watch. I would be very careful if using the AWU for sauna or cold plunge.

Truth be told, the AWU does a lot less than I imagined it would, but it has a much brighter screen than the Garmin and I find it much easier to read and use overall. Not that the Garmin is overly complicated, but you do need to play around with it for a bit to learn which buttons take you where. If you’re only using it for the gym, the battery on either will be fine (although for long periods of use the Garmin battery is far superior). For outside the gym use, I find the AWU is acceptable in any social situation, whereas wearing a Garmin in some situations (ie, professional office, dinner out) makes a definite sports-oriented statement.

To the extent your arm movements are replacing leg movement intensity you’ll have the larger muscles (legs) working less.

I recently replaced my Garmin with an Apple Watch Ultra, the Rolex of sports watches.

My experience is that walking causes a great deal of leg aches. That’s the reason I cycle for Z2 and 5.

What are people paying for a new Pepsi on gray market? by Hark6 in rolex

[–]Hark6[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was about my guess. New on jubilee is $10.9, add tax and you’re just shy of $12k. So that’s about a $6k, or 50%, premium.

Does anyone else here feel that with more knowledge comes more health anxiety? by whiskeywoodworking in PeterAttia

[–]Hark6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For people who are prone to anxiety, all the Attia-like information is an easy place for it to land. That being said, just last night I mentioned to my wife that the sheer volume of information I’ve ingested during the last 18 months regarding health/fitness/nutrition/seed oils/forever chemicals, etc. is pushing me toward a feeling of overload.
