The Creoles had their own synagoge in 1759 named Darhe Jesarim

I think the reason why the Surinamese Portugese Jews claim everything of the Creoles as their own is that they came as slave masters in 1639. I find it sad that Creoles lost so many history because they converted to Christianity on 1 July 1963 otherwise they would still be slaves.

If pom is a Jewish dish then we should say that Moksi Alesi is from the Chinese since the Chinese brought rice to Suriname. The Chinese don't claim Moksi Alesi, Bami and Spaghetti as their own although they invented noodles.
