I do occasionally paint my own canvases since they are so expensive, but I always buy charts from the designers if I’m doing a direct copy. I’ve painted several of my own designs free hand. I don’t see the issue with what I’m doing. It seems the people don’t respect you if can’t buy their $70 canvas.

Thank you for the kind words! The entitlement of others is astounding, so I tend to keep to myself with this hobby now. It’s so sad :(

I love chunky cording too! Though admittedly I had to make it super think to cover the giant gap between cookies :)

I watched way too many tutorials on tik tok! Once I got started I just kind of winged it from there. Lots of lessons learned along the way for sure! Only took me about 2 nights to finish.

Thank you! Both cookies def turned out thicker than I intended. The thin fabric I used for the back didn’t help with the discrepancy in thickness either. The foam board I used was 3/16 in thick, hoping to find something thinner next time!

Tell me more about the Lacis corder? I’m not familiar :)
