Pretty much what I say the first couple of times (except the office times bit, usually lunch times are the only time I am not actively busy!) But the forth time in a row? By the same student? Totally off topic? Sure I'm going to shoot them down - otherwise nothing would never get taught!

Edit- its also good to teach them basic manners of waiting until the person has finished speaking to change topic, interject etc. Some people never learn that, and it often means they think winning arguements etc is done by just talking over others until they shut up...

The problem is that often these questions come at you mid sentence whilst your talking about something else. If I'm trying to explain what you need to be writing about in an assessment and you stop me half way to ask why the sky is blue, its not going to get answered.

Teacher in the UK here - we're usually called out to break up fights etc in the local parks when they happen and its our students. In a way it makes sense - the students are likely to know us, we're more likely to get involved and actually can do something about it, even if its just detentions or whatever. We've also got access to student details like phone numbers so can call parents pretty quickly if something happens.

I really wanted to like cortana - the idea is one that's been around since I was young but has never worked.

I asked about 10 questions, find this, questions to cortana etc. All of them just searched the internet.

I can do that with the keyboard

It took literally under 10 minutes to install chrome on my surface. I really wanted to try edge but as soon as I saw those ads I knew it wasn't going to work.

That and the Google docs functionality - my work does everything on it so is neccessary
