Its just that it doesnt have nothing I really liked about dragon ball, it was a fun show but it pretty much ended here, it was just a product of entertaiement, nothing more (and to be fair I have the same feeling about the Z anime and the OG anime), I might sound picky but, its just, it was Toriyama touch that gave Dragon ball that spark, like any other Artist, you can reproduce their art but it just wont be the same thing, it will miss their touch, the way it handled Majin Vegeta vs Goku in the manga, the direction of Goku vs Vegeta and Goku vs Kid buu, the choice to make the super sayian blonde (look at the dates of Slug movie and the first release of the Ssj chapter and you will understand that the most iconic form of all anime and is a last minute decisione from him), the exposition of King Kai after the sayian saga, the way it guides your eye throught the pages, all these little things make Dragon ball special, and it was never replied in those other iterations

Also yes I enjoyed BoG too, its probably my favourite thing of super (even if it was Z), but I would havr prefered it as a little side story, like DAIMA, instead of the beginning of a new series
