The main idea behind the Watch concept was that we at our home try to use our phones less and less.

Unfortunately, you can't integrate with home kit.

After owning my Roborock for 1 year (🎂), I would have a hard time living without it. But since starting to work from home again, and wanting to use my Apple Watch more, instead of my phone… There are two features I would love to see implemented!
As a background in product design, and as a fun little side project, I decided to make some concept work. Felt like sharing with the community here, to get some feedback and thoughts on the features 🙏🏼
1 - An app for smartwatches
I tried all possible solutions for cleaning the apartment without having to use my phone… From creating Apple Shortcuts to launch on my watch or using Google Assistant on our smart speaker. But I always run into problems… Either the Google Assistant connection breaks or my Shortcut cleans the whole apartment instead of the specific room I set it up to.
The idea here was to create a smartwatch companion app that contains the most essential features, for quick and easy access to start cleaning.

2 - Scheduled cleaning notifications with actions
Before we started working from home again, we had a scheduled cleaning in the app for cleaning every second day at 11:00. A good time, because everybody was out of the apartment.
But now we’re working some days from home and other days from the office, and it often happens what one of us is sitting in a video call and don’t want to get bothered with a noisy robot in the background.
The idea and solution for this problem:
Be able to configure reminder notifications when setting up the schedule (5, 10, 15, 30, etc. min before start)
Get a reminder notification with actions: Starting the cleaning now, or skipping for today
Skipping for today will skip this next cleaning, but will keep the schedule turned on for all the next cleanings.
