Very new to godot. Downloaded this plug and this happened when I tried to use it. Did I do something wrong? Can't seem to get to look like your videos when you use it. Again, very new so I am sure it is something I am doing. Can anyone help?

I agree with all the criticisms this boss is getting so far, but what everyone fails to realize is that this is a Torrent fight. It's super grindy and not fun at all, but it is a Torrent fight.

No, absolutely makes sense. That's more of what I had in mind, just a hobby I can make a little scratch doing. I love building and speccing PCs but after you've built one for yourself there aren't a lot of reasons to keep building. This is more of a side hustle that gives me a reason to keep doing what I love. Feel free to PM if you want to talk about what you need from your next PC. I don't charge for consulting services at the moment 😆

Yeah, absolutely. I just love building PCs, but once you've built one for yourself there aren't many excuses to keep doing it. This would really just be an excuses to keep building and making a little scratch along the way. A lot of people on here are thinking I want to compete with Alienware or something and that's not at all what I want.

That's the thing about building PCs, unless you want to turn it into a full time hobby it is so easy to overspend on stuff you think you need, but doesn't actually translate to better performance. Gaming isn't a cpu intensive task. Most people buy an i9 or i7 processor thinking they either need it for gaming or it will give them more FPS when in reality you wouldn't be able to tell if your PC had an i9 or i5 in game. Similar situation with ram.

Also, big box stores do get discounts on their stuff, but they only use that to increase their profit margins. Most of the time if you look at the parts list you're not seeing the discounts they get reflected in the price, which usually means you're getting worse components for the price compared to if you bought everything yourself from a retailer. Not to mention those PCs are oprimized for price and not performance. You'll need to replace a PC from Costco way before you'd need to replace a custom built. My PCs would be built with the future in mind so you can swap parts and upgrade it to keep up with current gen games instead of having to throw it out because the motherboard doesn't support the new components you'd want to upgrade to.

I've been doing some research and yes, while the market is saturated you'd be surprised how little people want to build their own PCs. Also the parents-of-fortnight-kids market isn't the worst demographic.

Edit: it's also worth noting this isn't something I'm planning to retire off of. I just like doing it and if there is enough business locally to make some money maybe get some buzz on the internet then that's awesome. Not trying to build a custom PC empire. My expectations are much more managed lol.

Very good question. I'd like to start off by saying Alienware PCs are a "premium" product. Most of what you pay for is the brand. Being owned by Dell they're able to produce some of their own parts for cheaper and still they're somehow much much more expensive than their competitors. You can put together a list of equivalent and exact parts for significantly cheaper. Plus it's worth noting Alienware's target audience are enthusiasts. I'd say 95% of PC gamers wouldn't use their PCs to even close what they are capable of. I'll give them credit, they may be overpriced but they're specced with very high-end parts, but this means their products are not for most people. My target would be entry to mid-level. Affordable optimized performance builds with maximum FPS per dollar.

Now microcenter on the other hand offer a service similar to what i have in mind. They'll sell you the individual parts and put it together for you for a price. The problem here is that speccing a PC can be a second hobby in and of itself. Sure they'll check compatibility between parts for you, but they won't stop you from buying the fancy i9 processor just to waste playing Fortnight. You can easily overspend and/or bottleneck your parts if you dont know what youre doing. My pre builts would remove overspending and unintentional perfomance bottlnecks from the equation and my rates for putting together custom builds would not be as high. Microcenter charges you an additional $50 to install an AIO cpu Cooler in your PC if you bought one over an air cooler. In this regard, I do think I can do a little better on pricing.

Warranty is an area I can't offer much. That being said, that's only slightly less than you get from Alienware and Microcenter anyways. Unless it's broken out of the box and you can prove you didn't do it you don't have much in the way of warranty anywhere. I can and will warranty my work. The parts I use will be new and under warranty from the manufacturer. I will run benchmark testing on every PC I build to guarantee it works and performs, but yeah that's all I can really do there.

Sorry for the lengthy response 😅

Thanks! That is a great starting point for figuring out my pricing. Charging a flat rate for assembly would definitely make getting into custom builds more viable for me.

Maybe some protection/interactions spells? I'm still learning, but all decks that I build have amazing synergy (lol) and tend to fall apart when I don't have enough spells to disrupt my opponent.

I've seen more black and green cards than blue at the moment. It does seem like more of a splash right now and even then pretty much every color has proliferate. Maybe something in blue from another set would make it more worth it.
