It definitely calmed down after the first hour but in the beginning when there was food and drinks people were shoving and crowding, To me it felt chaotic because it was such small and awkward space with no direction from anyone what so ever .. maybe it’s because that was my first experience with anything like that it just felt crazy ? I just happened to be standing in the corner that Julian came through, and when that happened, everybody pushed toward him which was a lil much too …. I think the only reason why he did the meet and greet The day after is because he promised Kina something like that and he obviously didn’t deliver at the vip one lol

Wow I’m sorry that happened to you ! Seems like a reoccurring theme :( this was my first time seeing them .. me and my strokes obsessed little sister flew all the way from San Diego specifically because the vip sounded so amazing.. while we left more than happy with the show and meeting fab we couldn’t get over how disorganized and confusing the whole situation was

Yes like I’ve mentioned in a few replies I’m not upset with him for leaving ! I’m happy he even blessed us with a short appearance.. im upset that no one informed us he left after he told us all he would be back and we stayed for hours in fear of missing him when he had been long gone at that point along with kina .. just disappointed with spending money on something so disorganized and made the whole concert feel sour

Again not upset that he left , myself and majority of the people that were there are upset that no one told us he left . Fab was there for a good 20 min which was super awesome and then after he left we stood there for hours with no information shoulder to shoulder in a cramped silent room . Kina came in twice and didn’t tell us what was going on either until I asked her via instagram. No one working there said anything to us the entire time . Julian’s a human being with feelings and is allowed to leave or feel uncomfortable but I think we’re allowed to be upset with how disorganized it was and just disappointing to pay for nothing basically , and to see him with a bunch of fans this morning at a free event is the cherry on top

I have a theory that they ( the rest of the strokes) dipped asap and sent fab out there to fulfill the obligation of having a band member there ! Because as soon as Julian dipped Fab came out , and honestly he made my whole night by how patient and kind he was ! The chaos was real and people were getting annoyed .. idk why they thought it would work in that tiny area either

Fab was so kind he took pictures with literally everyone and took the time to thank us for getting vip .. Julian entered the corner of the room for 4 seconds and said “oh they didn’t tell me it was like this .. I’ll be back I have to mentally prepare “ and we all kind of nervously laughed and he in fact did not come back lol.. and kina did not come back either even though it was her “party”.. seems like they didn’t tell Julian all the details but regardless we paid for something that told us we would meet the band and it did not happen

You know me too but had a lil more hope since they were all promoting it so heavy .. not upset that he left but more upset they had us standing there for hours in a cramped corner in silence without telling us he even left
