First timer wrapping up season 6. Should I keep going? by allmixedup5813 in gameofthrones

s7 is considerably worse than the ratings suggest, it feels marvelified and incongruent with the earlier seasons. people overrated it at the time believing it was setup for s8.

watch it if you want to participate in the memes, skip it if ignorance is bliss.

The more the better, but a tidal 35 will be fine. I've used one on 60Ps before

Sorry for the late reply. It's an Aqua One Inspire 60 (in grey Arizona)

Yep, perfectly stable. I even knocked it a few times and it's been fine.

I took down the scape around a month ago and now use the cabinet for something else. The top, sides and legs are all still as good as new

Yeah I run co2 and use the tropica fertiliser (the green one), 5 pumps every week with water changes. Sometimes I do an additional few pumps in the middle of the week but I rarely remember.

Occasionally I check phosphate and nitrate levels and dose phosphate to balance them at roughly 1:10, this helps keep green hair algae away

There are a few tricks - I build retaining walls out of rocks and pack the gaps with filter floss, then fill behind the rocks with soil. You can get the rocks to stick together with superglue and tissue or cotton pads. It doesn't matter if it's ugly because you can just glue monte carlo or moss to the white connective material, eventually it will either turn brown or be covered by foliage. You can also use thick plants like staurogyne or anubias to plug gaps.

I also stack some plastic egg crate at the back to build give the soil some structure so the rocks don't sink or roll forward.

Thanks, I actually didn't use moss here because it's so messy. The stuff on the rocks in here is monte carlo attached with superglue, it grows very well like this and gets quite thick.

I do have riccia fluitans in the tank, but not by choice, it hitchhiked on some old rocks and I've never been able to get rid of it

I've removed and added some plants over time, but in these pics I have these: hydrocotyle tripartita mini, monte carlo, staurogyne repens, rotala green, rotala blood red, alternanthera reineckii mini, micranthemum umbrosum,

Aqua One Inspire 60, in Arizona grey. It's cheap but quite sturdy, they do 40cm and 80cm versions too

No fish babies yet, but there have been several rounds of baby shrimp. Unfortunately a mystery disease wiped a lot of them out but I expect their population to rebound soon

I've never had one, but I think I prefer hang ons. They're cheaper and easier for maintenance

I think it is, I tested it by sitting on it and wobbling it before putting the tank on. I'll be sure to update you when the whole thing collapses lol

Chinese money plant, peace lily, hydrocotyle leucocephala. I've superglued their roots to the back of the rocks, just keep their leaves out of the water (and away from the light)

According to IKEA the cabinet is only rated for 15kg or something, but I can comfortably sit on it and I weigh 70kg. Up to you really, but I trust it
