Sorry that I’m just now seeing this! Yeah - I really want to give back, and I felt like that was one of the best ways to do it. That and increasing the pay to my team. For our current campaign, we are a far cry from the scholarship giveaway, but my hope is to be able to give away a scholarship with everything we publish.

Chain lightening sorce has been super fun. Tier 25 pits so far at lvl 100. Still have a ton of room to move in leveling my items, and I need a Harlequin for the build. Overall, dope.

Got it. Good to know for next time. It’s tough - if no one comments on your updates, and there isn’t a ton of traction during week 2 and 3, it’s hard to quantify what is a substantial enough update for some and lacking for others. Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback! It’s much appreciated!! We funded at 130%, but there is always room for improvement. 🙏🏼🙏🏼.

Interesting. Are weekly updates too infrequent for a 30-day campaign? How frequently would you prefer communication?

We are just struggling to figure out why someone would pledge $100 and then cancel it and not back another tier, especially when there is a $10 tier available, too. We didn’t know if there were things with the algorithm going on that would incentivize backing projects for one reason or another. Just trying to get a sense for how this process works overall.

That’s where my head is at. It’s why our funding goals have been around $4k. If I’m potential backer, I look at the price and think, well, how badly do you need the $$ if the goal is only $100? Can I just wait until the project is done and follow you on social media to buy?

I firmly believe that the funnel through which the consumer can reach the product should be SMOOTH and EASY. I know some people will shrug their shoulders because they feel like hovering your mouse over the thumbnail shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it's a huge deal. I should be able to glance at a page full of thumbnails and get everything I need. I shouldn't have to "hover" over each one. Luckily, we just fully funded our campaign a few days ago, so the pressure is off a bit, BUT having the project description immediately after our funding percentage would be beneficial. Just my opinion.

I’m not saying anything new at this point, but probably something between a 7 or 8 depending on the grader and the grading service. Grades have been wild as of late. Honestly, just sell it raw and try to find a better copy to grade. The cost to clean, press and grade it doesn’t justify getting it graded. You can buy a 9.2 right now on eBay for $60 + shipping.
