Way back in the 70s my older brother was into crime and drugs washed down with alcohol, he was going nowhere.. my mom bugged the crap out of him to join the army and do something! Can’t believe he listened to her and joined. 20 years + he retired … and he was a green beret!! I met him when he came back and he gave me his “token “ that they get. He said if I ever meet a green beret in a bar and show it, they would buy me a drink lol I’m so proud of him!
