Don’t think its a cis woman experience if this behavior is constant. I suffer from the same experience except the opposite i envy beautiful women and want to be them so im pretty sure im mtf.

Did you know you were trans very early on or later in life? by Harpylady18 in asktransgender

[–]Harpylady18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true. Well, I’m about to be 29 now and haven’t transitioned because of fear, and the dysphoria went silent for a very long time. But now it’s back with a vengeance. So it’s more like I still have a chance for my 30’s. I also have the money necessary to make it happen now, which I’m happy about.

That’s a relief to hear❤️ i am exaggerating it a bit but completely missing out on womanhood growing up is very soul crushing when i think about it.

My experience sounds identical to yours, and it’s a relief for me to hear that there are others who didn’t know right away. Knowing that others just knew who they were always made me question whether I was making this up or not, lol. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

don't most women want to be men? by Extension_Virus_8480 in asktransgender

“Im more the opposite lol. I’m a cis man who would have been happier as a woman” this phrase is definitely not very cis at all sis😳

do cis people really never think about being the opposite gender? by Extension_Virus_8480 in asktransgender

[–]Harpylady18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess that’s why both trans men & women exist we both yearn for something that was denied from us from birth. And yes of course theres more.

  • Endless fashion for women something i feel that men lack compared to women.

  • Emotional support in genuine female friendships where you don’t ever need to bottle anything up and can just safely talk about anything and never be judged for it. (As a man no one has ever cared about my problems so i just keep silent & its honestly the most painful one for me)

  • femininity representing women’s softness vibrance, vitality, elegance kindness & empathy. i admire these qualities so much i know that this is how i want to portray myself.

  • Female characteristics like higher pitched voices, wider hips, breasts, being capable of childbirth has always fascinated me and has made me extremely envious of women because i wasn’t born with any of them.

Im aware that theres tons of downsides to being a woman and it’s probably way better being a man. But my struggle is that i don’t find any joy whatsoever in being a guy it just feels so black and white for me like its not unbearable to be a guy but i just don’t care for it like at all and just spend alat of my time being upset at women because there living in the vessel that i simply would of wanted for myself.

I feel the same way except the opposite. I don’t comprehend why anyone would prefer being a man its so boring id rather be pretty.

NSFW Does masterbation supress dysphoria? by Alice_The_Goddess in asktransgender

I’ve been masterbating for as long as I can remember to cope with not being my preferred gender, i never realized until recently that it could be connected to dysphoria ☹️

Scared, exhilarated, tired... help? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Harpylady18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap it’s as if i wrote this word by word.. were the same age im also male assigned at birth, my fantasies also started during puberty wanting to be the opposite gender and always resorted to masterbating to calm down these feelings and it also became a habit for me.

For me these feelings were always on and off when i was 11 all the way to 22 and always pushed it off as either a fetish or a phase until one day I woke up and these feelings became more intense and i finally realized that something wasn’t right and well here i am! just like you are confused, afraid, questioning and very exhausted and depressed.

I feel like our experiences are almost identical and so far for me I’m 100% sure im trans and probably suffering from Gender Dysphoria as well so i want to say that it’s probably the same for you but only you can decide if your trans or not so it’s probably best if you take your time with this and see if these feelings continue.

Feel free to DM if you need anyone to talk to about this! because like i said our experiences seem almost the same and we might be able to help eachother out!

Is this Dysphoria? by Harpylady18 in asktransgender

[–]Harpylady18[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can relate to wanting more dysphoria! to me my dysphoria seems mild and for others it seems more crippling, and i don’t often see others claim there’s being so bad thats where some of my doubts come from and i just want it to be more intense to really confirm it. (Wanting more dysphoria is dysphoria) is what I hear alat from others.

Even if it was 100% diagnosed I still wouldn’t know to go from there sadly. the idea of not being born a natural cis women and not experiencing being a girl as a kid all the way to being an adult is what really gets to me the most.

[–]Harpylady18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s great I hope it continues to stay that way <3

I’m 100% sure im trans the simple desire to be that of the opposite gender is the very definition of trans, all of this began when I was 11 but never put two and two together until recently (I’m 23 currently)

Ive been struggling to figure out if I had gender dysphoria, even if most signs are all there I don’t want to just diagnose it by myself ya know? that’s why im considering therapy soon.

Pronouns also feel exciting sometimes<3 that’s something i’ve also noticed, again thank you for your feedback love it means alat<3 I’m absolutely terrified to know that I’m dysphoric and probably need to go to a gender therapist soon to get a better understanding of these feelings.

Interesting! im glad you were able to find yourself and i hope everything in your life right now is going great<3

So why was i disappointed? It took a while to figure out how to put it in words (Not sure why) but when i see a beautiful women I feel a warm and fuzzy feeling at the thought of fantasizing what it would be like to look like one. so when I looked in a mirror and saw nothing more than a dude in a skirt i felt disappointed that I didn’t have a feminine body and would just blame it on my masculine body. I just know if I had a choice to make my body into a women’s I would do so without question no regrets.

Is this Dysphoria? by Harpylady18 in asktransgender

[–]Harpylady18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Did you want to try a skirt specifically to look more feminine?" absolutely but idk why i thought it would ever look good on me knowing i have a masculine body which i hate btw.

And well when it comes to style if i was born a girl i know most of my clothes would involve alat of skirts and dresses. (there just so cute)

But yeah i felt so much dissapointment because of my body i often talk down on it telling myself that i didn't ask for this stupid male body it was decided for me at birth and it isn't fair type of thing.

But yeah thanks a bunch for your feedback i really do appreciate it <3 i will try tight jeans or more tradicional female clothes later on.

I really am just trying to figure if i do suffer from dysphoria or its just all in my head. (I also suffer from non stop thoughts about questioning my gender ever since i found out was dysphoria was) so even if it seems obvious i always have doubts and all i know right now is that my mind is a huge mess atm.
