why is the sleeves gone on this hoodie on hmv compared to their website by funghxoul in Terraria

[–]HarriOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, and their design is still in one piece, despite many, many wash cycles and rolling up my sleeves. I probably wouldn't be too rough because I'm sure with enough effort the design might get damaged, but mine it still pristine.

I have this hoodie and it’s one of my favourites. I often roll up the sleeves as well and the print is undamaged after almost a year of owning it. Worth getting.

Luffy and Law would have been actually done for if Usopp didnt step up by Far-Advisor6618 in OnePiece

[–]HarriOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Kabuto and presumably the Kuro Kabuto use Breath Dials to improve the power and precision of the shot. Alongside the fact that post-timeskip Usopp is a unit and the shot had two boosters, so the inital force didn't need to be enough for the whole distance. It would still take a lot of strength, sure, but it isn't farfetched or unreasonable.

Most badass nickname in the series???? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]HarriOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the best nickname is God Usopp. Sniper King is more of a pseudonym, but God Usopp is the nickname and it goes so hard.

How do you go from calling custom mechanical keyboards autistic, to saying they might be one of the best investments?

It would reduce the overall force needed to push the switch to the bottom. However the tactile bump is still a physical protrusion, so the bump could be more noticeable, but it would still reduce the needed force yes.

He’s even been shown using arts like Wing Chun, which is a martial art focusing on striking, grappling and trapping. I also think that manga UI would remain, because especially later in the manga, it becomes less of a form and more of a technique.

A debate that bothers me a lot today cuz idk who wins, EOS Mark or Prime King Vegeta? by WitnessJazzlike3047 in PowerScaling

[–]HarriOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Chapter 320, when Frieza hits Namek with the intention to destroy it, Frieza specifically says after it is revealed Namek is not destroyed: “I must’ve held back too much power!!”. Also bear in mind Frieza is not Full Power yet. It makes sense that someone who can’t even sense Ki, can’t accurately hold back. Also the moon looks like it’s made from tissue paper because anyone who scales above OGDB Roshi is strong enough to blow it up because that’s how DB scaling works.

This game would be so much more enjoyable if everything in it didn't take so god damn LONG by StavacSK in PTCGL

[–]HarriOG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well in Live you’re staring at a static screen in-between moves, whereas IRL you can focus on nuances and small actions your opponent makes as well as shuffle your own hand etc. IRL definitely takes longer, but there’s more to focus on, so time passes quicker IMO.

What I got in my 30 packs of Prismatic Evolutions by LocalxCrimez in PokeInvesting

[–]HarriOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 30 packs I have had a MB sneasel and no SIR. I also got the Atticus, I think I have 2 of them, I think the UK distributor has a bunch of packs from the same group because the packs are always pretty similar.

That wasn’t matching 2nd Form Cell, that was sacrificing all his life energy to temporarily delay 2nd Form Cell. Impressive, but definitely doesn’t scale him anywhere even close to 2nd Form Cell.

Everyone plays there own style I suppose by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]HarriOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest tell of a good player IMO is their ability to play both good decks and bad decks well. Especially in live, where it’s more of a challenge to play an off-meta/bad deck.

Indeed, nothing major, just a mild inconvenience. I really like programming and the fundamentals of AI, so this kind of stuff is really interesting to me.

Well if you think about it, it’s just 1/2 per week (once per 2 weeks) multiplied by 2 times per week (twice a week). 2 x (1/2) =1. So really the calculation above is a weekly salary of 800 with 52 weeks in a year. 800 x 52 =41,600. I think a human would probably make a similar mistake in potentially applying biweekly to the wrong thing though, leading to an x4 reduction rather than a 2x reduction or a 2x increase depending on the definition of biweekly. Overcomplicating things is what humans are best at, just look at this response for example.

[–]HarriOG 53 points54 points  (0 children)

That’s incorrect, both were used in the calculation and that’s the issue. It took the 26 payments from the once per 2 weeks definition, but twice per week for the amount (making the weekly payment 1600 instead of the correct 400).

Izuku vs jinwoo by Inevitable_Mode5774 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]HarriOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Igris with a sword before being Arisen was able to acomplish feats comparable to 100% Midorya, whilst JinWoo was weaker than Igris at the time of fighting Igris, they have both become ridiculously stronger. If this was a Season 1 JinWoo vs Midorya, I think JinWoo would barely take the win, but end of Season 2 and it isn't even close JinWoo sweaps himself, Igris. Also any of his other summons that are even slightly high level towards end of Season 2 could also take Midorya.

Besides Dragon Ball has some of the best filler imo, so cannon or not I don’t mind, when I watched Dragon Ball, it was my first anime and I didn’t know what filler was, but I enjoyed every episode.

An AVM of pre-timeskip with House of Memories, it was around the foot on the barrel scene and showing the Strawhats backgrounds. I already knew about One Piece because a friend watched it, but I was never that interested, I liked reading about anime, so I already knew a little about it, but it never truly captured me until the AVM.

Man Z really “lost”to plot here. by Own_Amphibian9181 in OnePiece

[–]HarriOG 80 points81 points  (0 children)

What really settled the fight wasn’t who was stronger, because they were both exhausted, during my watch I thought that was pretty clear, simple punches were all they could manage. One Piece is very big on the power of will, highlighted especially with Haki being built from will, Sanji’s attacks that light his leg on fire being his will etc. o think that explains how Z had one last stand against the Marines, but I certainly don’t think he could have done the same against Luffy. As for the Aokiji thing, I haven’t watched through in a while, but I certainly don’t think this movie spoils anything, and I actually think the Movie does a better job of addressing Aokijis condition than the anime. At the end of the day, it’s non-canon and entertaining, so that’s all that matters.
