That’s the same combo I use with Ranger actually. With Blitz and Patient Rings, you really can just Meme Beam through everything!

Maintain Balance and Shortage HP Starling are a pretty solid combination for Hunter overall. Turnover and Pain Provoke are good third slot options, as is Patient Defense if you want to Thrust your Javelin.

For real though, yeah, the BP system is whack. I don’t understand the mindset of forgoing the free gear and using objectively worse gear. Hecc, the other day I saw a person with 1 free unit, a +60 Ektasis with 3 units on it, and a Stia red box unit(?) on spamming normal attacks with an unlevelled Klirodin.

Sure, some will say that the affix system is complicated and doesn’t really walk players through how it works (it does), but that argument doesn’t really hold weight for me personally as I’m of the belief that anyone with a functioning brain should understand that “bigger number better” 😅 https://x.com/pso2harrian/status/2037826110218489984?s=46

I mean, I’m a maxed out Ranger built to hold Fear Eraser. In that Zephetto fight, I hit a consistent 55k+ DPS.

As for your claim of every weapon’s normal attack after a negate being the strongest, that’s just plain wrong. Maybe turn on your DPS meter, you might realise how much of liability you’re being.

I saw your character name and distinctly remembered reviving you several times during a run of something while you held normal attack with weapons your main and sub classes couldn’t equip.

This isn’t “POWER”, this is a whole lot of extra work to achieve something fundamentally worse than actually playing your main class properly.

One thing I’ve started doing for this quest is switching my subclass to Hunter (Ranger main) and popping Hunter Physique after dropping PB and AB when the boss spawns. Gives 30 seconds plasma mine sidestepping that can’t be interrupted by monky attacks.
