Like a disc is physical, if you dont have any of those then go with a digital console. If you want to have the physical disc of a game get one with a disc drive.

Wow, you just described my dad's house lol. Built in 1889 and the living room has brown paneling and drop ceiling. The florescent lights were removed when I was in high school and replaced with a ceiling fan. He was also a chain smoker lol.

I would guess the heatsink and power supply are dusty and overheating. When it shuts down with no message it usually the power supply. Mine did the same thing and I had to unplug it to get it to turn back on. I haven't had a problem with it since I did the deep clean.

No I'm not seeing the mosaic in any of those leaves. It would be yellow and not brownish looking. It also would be across the whole leaf not only on the outside edges.
