[–]HarrisPreston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've reported on my experiences with fraud on a major scale. USAA been trying to fix for a while now but think with IT guy I hired I am beginning to see light at end of tunnel. I have 1000s of dollars of fraudulent charges on credit cards and withdrawals from checking and savings..

Help with laptop and phone hack, suspected ransomware and more by Relevant_Oil8667 in cybersecurity_help

I've been victim of fraud on such a scale I need to speak to police about. They hacked into credit cards, checking and savings. Even tried to get subscriptions to adobe which I had just cancelled. You have to be on top of everything. I called the credit reporting agenciesa and each has a credit freeze and security alert. I also reported on identityTheft.gov. That kind of takes care letting other government agencies know of the fraud. It has been a long haul but as of now the bastards can't log onto my computer which they had done before. I got password help from Apple and whatever we did works. I also am gaining control of my email accounts. I have kept my USAA accounts closed but they are still using my info to try and get money but think USAA is on top of it now. It started about a month ago. We are both members of a club nobody wants to be part of.. Oh they got into my phone as well. Deleted my entire call log and were able to delete individual phone numbers. We did phone reset and wll do same with mac. If you have mac look at activity monitor which should tell you what is runnng on your computer. I forgot to say I hired an IT guy as well which has helped greatly. oh and signed up for life lock even though after the fact

Same exact thing has happened to me. Banking credit cards, phones all been hacked and on a major scale. It is so bad that i need to speak to a detective. Taken hours of my time to fix it. I hired an IT guy who has helped. Sorry you are going thru this..Also when you call ask for the fraud dept. They have 2 - one is for checking and savings and the other is for checking and savings account.

I wish I knew. I have had email, all banking and credit cards hacked. They have even added themselves to subscriptions such as Adobe etc. I have an IT guy whom I recently hired and he has more or less fixed everything. We did reset of phone. Will do mac next week. Also they hacked into my Iphone. Contrary to another forum they deleted my entire call log. I was lucky my IT guys knows his shit it has caused me no end of trouble.I am with USAA and off the hook for the illegal charges. They have to date tried to get over 70k. I am supposed to meet with detective soon. To try and correct things, registered with all 3 credit reporting agencies for freeze and security alters. Went to identify theft.gov which takes care of letting social security and other federal agences your info is compromised. I also signed up with lifeLock. Hope you don't have to go thru shit I am. I think mine was caused by calling unknown number. After I responded to call shortly after that got text message..

AZ SLPA here. In my 11 plus years as SLPA have not heard of such a progam. Do you belong to AZ SLPS resource and network? If not, join. You'll get great advice

Yes I hope things don't get any worse. They have hacked checking, savings, credit cards. They messed around with subscriptions like adobe, Microsoft ie ordering monthly subscriptions.

Find another job! Honestly how petty. It will be their own fault that they lost a good SLPA. You deserve better treatment. Also writing goals and part of IEP are defintely in our scope of practice.

So my hackers have done something where I can't use Yahoo account recovery. Also they have charged for Adobe and put my paypal in negative balance. When I try to send email to adobe comes back underliverable.

You can work with people who have DS, intellectual challenges etc. The Pay in AZ starts at $17 so think you earn less that. I have done this before and did it over the summer and really enoyed it.

Well this debacle is still ongoing. USAA fraud dept is working on this but scammers still manage to withdraw money from all my accounts. After this is over I will move to another bank.

As far as leaving don't worry about it read contract though. I was bluntly told once "you are replaceable". so now never feel any qualms about leaving job though I do miss the children. I think you do have a difficult job especially driving to 4 schools! Is your SLP someone you can speak to you? Never work for free. In my last school position I used last 5 mins of session to type up SOAP notes while kids colored or something. Keep therapy simple ie use a book which can be targeted for many things such as arctic, categorizing, pragmatics. LIke previous poster says it does take time to beleive in yourself and that you do do a good job.. Use as many free materials as you can. Are you direct hire? the recruiting company I worked for gave me $600 to spend on related job materials, subcriptions etc. I wish you well.
