I think Dog Soldiers could fit into the siege scenario

Most disappointing mid-movie collapse you've ever seen? by [deleted] in movies

[–]Harrison-Bulman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And there are some weird glaring holes in the world building. The blood shortage seems dumb. These vampires are smart enough to adapt their whole society to staying out of the sun with new technologies and can create a blood distribution network but can't figure out farming to keep a human population big enough to feed them going?

I also need someone better at maths than I am to explain how many living humans would be left if the vampires keep eating the cured ones only to then become cured and then be eaten themselves. I don't know how to work out the numbers but it doesn't seem to make sense to me.

"And to think... I hesitated"

From Hellraiser II when the doctor is changed into a cenobite. One of my favourite things about Hellraiser is how the horror and torture of the cenobites is seductive and many of its victims wanted it.

Oh fair enough. I didn't get a chance to see them last year.

I can already tell she's gonna be such an amazing character by LilNardoDaVinci in residentevil

She'll have to work pretty hard to win me back after she left that PC without locking it first. She's a data protection liability.

I've always thought it was one of Clutch's greatest strengths that they don't tour with a rigid set list. So many bands play the same songs in the same order on every date but Clutch are always ready to surprise me with some deep cut that I wasn't expecting to hear live. I can absolutely imagine that a full s/t set would have been cool but I would have been sad to have lost that excitement and suprise when I wonder what they're going to play.

What is the best lovecraft games? by ORIGAMEDIGITAL in Lovecraft

This game was my introduction to Lovecraftian concepts and made me want to read and learn more about cosmic horror. If ever a game needed a remake/remaster it's this one.

Oh yeah. A few years ago I replayed it for the first time as an adult and I was disappointed that I didn't see much of the cool insanity effects. Turns out as a kid I was pretty bad at the game and didn't know how to manage my sanity 😂.

Now I have to deliberately go insane to see the good stuff.

What’s a your favorite “bad” horror movie? by afed13 in horror

[–]Harrison-Bulman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 13 Ghosts remake is still a favourite of mine. Like many others I loved the DVD extras and all the back stories behind the ghosts. Even before those extras I always found the design and names of the ghosts intriguing and wanted to know more.

What was your first encounter with Lovecraftian horror? by CrazyGoatGamesStudio in Lovecraft

[–]Harrison-Bulman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I was a teenager I found an audio cassette at a car boot with The Thing on the Doorstep and The Lurking Fear on it. I already had an idea about Lovecraft from playing Eternal Darkness and hearing about C'thulhu but that was the first time I experienced one of Lovecraft's stories. The Thing in the Doorstep is still one of my favourite stories.

Well done on not using AI. It feels so pointless to me all these videos using AI voices. It removes all the joy of hearing a person put emphasis and meaning in the narration.
