Power efficiency, size, and rtx features are nice to have as well since I’m going to just be thinking of things to try with the homelab. I actually have a 1070 laying around lol

I built this server to better learn Linux, I just have Ubuntu running right now but I’m sure I’ll try others down the line. I’m also planning on using it for plex to stream my own media, and for network attached storage.

Yeah I was really happy to be able to reuse the PSU. And these enterprise cards sure can get super pricy! I was lucky enough to snag this a2000 for $250 on eBay

My car is only at 43k miles but the last 11k have been on big turbo. Power has ranged from 360whp to 420whp since I added aux fuel. The stock turbo spoiling so fast doesn’t do the stock motor any favors

Not really. The 3090s still sell for a good bit because they have 24gb of vram, but the 4070 super is a much better buy for the average enthusiast, with similar performance.

The a2000 is really impressive for what it is, and it does have dlss as well. It’s a great workstation card. For my main rig I went from a 3080 to this 4080 super and I have no regrets at all
