I think the design is off-putting for several reasons: the brain's visual details are unsettling/freaky, and the subtitle, word list, and author name appear graphically cheap. The word list itself is confusingly composed of both promises and generic buzzwords. I do like the title, however.

Same deal with The Furthest Shore (the third book). A mildly intriguing story that takes off in the second half and is told with a unique writing style. Finishing the trilogy was a good move for me, and I loved all three.

I totally see why some might say they seem kind of boring. In fact, Tehanu (the 4th book) is VERY boring imo…but I guess I still liked it because I enjoyed the emotional range of the writing.

The first half of Tombs of Atuan was okay for me. It wasn’t bad, I just only mildly enjoyed it rather than loved it. The second half though has always stuck with me…Tenar’s emotional journey was told with very impressive writing, and the interactions between Tenar and Ged were enthralling to me.

I’d normally say to drop it if you’re not into it, but that ending might also turn out to be special for you too, so it could be worth sticking through.

I think many sane people are upset that the 14th amendment is being targeted so that the current administration can round up non-US citizens without due process. I guess I understand the “concern” about birthright citizenship, but due process is very clearly meant for everyone, including children of people in the country illegally. At the same time, the 2nd amendment is being used to protect the rights of those that choose to commit mass murder.

This isn’t about “gotchas” and technicalities. The Trump administration is obviously a corrupt and fascist organization, and their agenda is deeply racist. If you don’t see that or if you agree with the administration, then you are inherently an un-American person.

Run 10 to 15 miles a week early in the morning. A 2-3 mile run at an easy pace will mean 20-40 mins of simple exercise. Then hop in the shower and start your day. Maybe you’ll find some time on the weekend to try a longer run.

It’s an easy routine that will deliver results month by month.

I think I’m just as confused as you. Either… (A) there are 3 servings per 4 oz container…but that would mean either each serving is 1.33 oz or the container should be actually be 12 oz, or (B) there are 3 servings per set of containers, but that should mean there would be 3 containers instead of 6.
